Cannot find a fault in this wonderful place - would give the Arctic Treehouse Hotel a "one of a kind" rating if I had this option. The receptionist Laura was especially helpful to us and assisted us with everything we needed. The location of this hotel is perfect. 12 mins from the aiport . 10 mins from Santas village and Santa s park. The bus stops directly outside the hotel. There is a bus to the city center, otherwise you have to take a taxi or walk 1h-1h30 to the major attractions or the city center. But this did not bother us much. Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. We went by car just to see the road and environment to Rovaniemi. We were not disappointed. Along the way met other international tourists like that of Poland, France, Spain, Germany.
