We had a beautiful and comfortable room in the old building. The breakfast was served in the newer building and it was varied and nice. The location was practical, near just next to the city centre and the fortress, and beautiful by the Saimaa lake. We went to the spa in the morning and had it all to ourselves. The spa was small, but had what we wanted.

The accommodation was very clean and check-in was super easy. Lovely and really helpful host, who responded immediately when I had some issues. Also, there was free tee and coffee for everyone :) I’d totally recommend staying at Imatran Portti!!!

Clean and small rooms contains fridge, microwave oven, TV, table and beds. In principle it's possible to eat inside the room, but a big kitchen with a lot af different stuff was also there. You can easily cook and eat in the kitchen as well. Behind the building there is a green yard with tables. A couple of common restrooms are pretty clean. The place was really chip and nice. Pets are allowed (surprisingly) without extra charge. Good place to stay 1-2 nights

the accommodation was lovely and calm! the location by the lake and the personal, friendly approach of the owner is just great; morning swimming was great even though pretty refreshing :) moreover, you can enjoy and buy their local delicacies including smoked salmon, salmon fish cakes, etc., we also ordered the breakfast which is fully local too (including the smoked fish, home baked bread, oat porridge, etc.); parking is just at the accommodation
