Wonderful hotel with exceptional service. The location is perfect, on Soller Port seafront, gorgeous view from the balcony, splash out for a sea view. Lovely facilities with beautiful landscaped pool area, nice spa, gym and small indoor pool. Excellent onsite restaurant and bar. But what makes it is the staff, so friendly and helpful. Nice little extras like wine, water and snacks in the room, plus a daily little treat. Thank you Hotel Esplendido for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at MOONTEN! The hotel is professionally designed and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Pascal and Eniko are amazing hosts—warm, caring, and always available to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is ideal, right in the center of Sóller, but still feels like a hidden gem. We also highly recommend trying their restaurant and bar, “El Patio”—absolutely delicious! Thank you Pascal and Eniko for creating such a special place. We would love to come back and can only recommend it to anyone visiting Sóller!

    A lovely place situated in a bay which you could walk from one end to the other. There is no traffic on the promenade apart from the tram so plenty of space to amble along at your own speed. A very good selection of restaurants all reasonable priced. A few good beaches all very clean with plenty sunbeds.

    The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to Soller centre. Soller is a beautiful town, with lots going on in the main square. Lots of places to eat and drink, each weekend there is some form of entertainment in the square. Saturday is market day, I would advise not trying to get to your hotel for check in until after 5pm as roads are closed.

    Every aspect of the Lluc journey is a pleasure, whether it's wandering the expansive corridors, finding solace in the exquisite church and museum, or engaging in pleasant conversations with the charming staff. I yearn for another visit, perhaps during the cooler autumn or spring seasons, as the room's warmth in July can be overwhelming without air-conditioning. My memories of Lluc are cherished keepsakes, deeply imprinted in my heart.

    Amazing location right in the middle of the Tramuntana...

    Amazing location right in the middle of the Tramuntana mountains. At the same time it is 30 minutes drive to Palma, 40 minutes walk to Soller and about an hour walk to Soller Port. I was able to explore all surrounding areas, Valdemossa, Deia, Lluc, Pallenca, Alaro, did few trips to Palma when it rained. But the nature is amazing.

    The hotel was very comfortable.

    The hotel was very comfortable. We had seaview rooms with terrace and loved the view. Everything at the hotel is done with thought and care and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel is excellent. We had breakfast every day and also lunch and dinner at various times. We love the garden with the swimming pools - lovely place to relax.

    Impossible to park in Soller and the trip to Soller beach is very expensive on the (lovely) tram, €10 each way pp, and the car parking spaces at the beach (very good beach and swimming) limited. BUT the town is delightful, very good restaurants and the area scenic. Soller off-season would be great but mid September is still main season and so we struggled with the parking.

    Pluses: The room was OK, spacy and warm. Hot water all day. The place was quiet, no people during the week. Minuses: noisy during the day at the weekends. The cleaning lady should come every three days (we stayed for a week), but she did not. We ran off toilet paper, had the same towels all week. Had to take our rubbish out ourselves. Breakfast was served in a restaurant near the Parking Lot, it was the same for the whole week. Orange juice (sometimes only a glass, sometimes a jar of it...), yoghurt with musli and a small strawberry jam, two pieces of toast with olive oil, tomato, and a slice of ham and cheese. A drink - tea or coffee. The fourth day we asked for a change, the offer was tuna or omelette with the toasts. But if we did not ask there would be no change. The price was high for this type of breakfast. We had to pay the parking ticket.

    Fornalutx is a hidden gem, a charming little village in the heart of great mountains. It is definitely for people who love to slow down and enjoy the nature or the rhythm of smaller Majorcan City. There is a remarkable ice cream place called Pruna, which has locally made ice cream. The Italian restaurant “Calzone” is to be avoided since each of our orders, pizza, ravioli, or tiramisu doesn't seem Italian 🙈 We had the dinner in Groenk Bistro&Grill. The staff was great, but the food was unfortunately overrated. If you like a local spot, I recommend visiting the little beach called Cala Tuent. Mostly visited by locals. Or see the Valldemosa and Deia, (must see) charming and a bit bigger neighboring towns.

    The Port has a long bay with lots of bars, cafes, shops and...

    The Port has a long bay with lots of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants facing onto the sea, and others in the streets behind. Thursday is market day, and there are various fiestas through the year, especially that of San Pere at the end of June, with live music and other events. Note, if you book accommodation close to the marina end of the bay, the Fiesta music goes on until the early hours, so if that's a worry, you may want to choose another time to visit. The historic tram from Soller works its way around the bay and is a nice thing to do - although at 10 Euros pp each way, maybe not something to do very often. There are regular buses to Palma, Valdemossa and Pollensa, amongst others, so easy to get to/from. The beach is not very deep from promenade to water's edge, but runs the whole length of the bay, and is a mix of shingle and sand, with some large stones at the edge, and with a sharp drop once you're in. At the end of June, the water was very warm.

    Soller is the perfect location if you want to explore all the little towns in the area plus as far as scenery it is the prettiest part of the island.If you want a beach vacation it is not the correct place to stay although you are only 5 minutes away from Puerto de Soller but there are much nicer beaches.
