- From US$115.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 134 reviewsI am pleased to give a 10/10 review for Casa Camino Turismo Rural, a delightful hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was struck by the beauty and elegance of the interior design. The attention to detail was impeccable, and everything was well-maintained and sparkling clean. The hosts of Casa Camino Turismo Rural were incredibly kind and caring, making me feel at home right away. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel was simply amazing, situated right on the Camino Primitivo, so we were able to start ou rwalk right away after breakfast. This is by far, the best hotel in the area! The breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was prepared and served by the owners, which shows how much care they put into every element of the stay. Overall, Casa Camino Turismo Rural was a truly exceptional hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the area. The beautiful interiors, kind and caring hosts, incredible location, and amazing food all combine to make this a truly unforgettable experience. 10/10!Guest review byCarmenUnited States
- From US$129.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 303 reviewsThe place was spotless, there is a Nespresso coffee machine and the kitchenware was of a good quality. The wifi works well and the smart TV in the living room as well, and you can connect it easily to your Netflix account. The bedroom is roomy, the mattress was comfortable and there is a French door that connects straight with the jacuzzi area outside. There is independent heating both in the bedroom and the living room, and it has a wood stove too. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is huge, the towels and robes are of a very good quality and shower gel and a hair dryer is provided. The jacuzzi works really well, it is easy to fill it and keep it warm for a few hours.Guest review byVanessaSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,407 reviewsHaving finished the Camino Ingles it was a perfect location (7 mins from the Cathedral). Checking in was fast, staff was friendly, beds were impeccably made & clean. The shower was a TEN!! And the icing on the cake is having breakfast available at a good price. Also very easy to get the bus to Santiago Airport. Would highly recommend this hotel to Pilgrims. Will definitely stay here again when I finish my next Camino.Guest review byMARISETEItaly

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,576 reviewsAn excellent place to sleep after finishing the Camino. The location is great, besides the cathedral. Monastic athmosphere, rustic. Breakfast is frugal but then again it is part of the experience of being in a religious place. Both reception and breakfast staff are very friendly and attentive.Guest review byMarciaVatican City

I love the old city and parks of Santiago de Compostela.
I love the old city and parks of Santiago de Compostela. It's a beautiful and spiritual place and lively too. As a vegetarian, I found it very easy to find good and nutritious food. I will definitely be visiting again to soak up the vibe.Guest review byDeepabenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.Guest review byMaryIreland - 10.0

Large room comfortable beds with quiet a/c. Warm day loved the pool. Breakfast stated at 0700 and excellent choices. Nice to get on Camino by 0730. Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!Guest review byHicksUnited States - 10.0
We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino.
We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino. We would have wanted to stay longer, the city had many historic places and old churches, but a many were closed (we were there on a Sunday). There was a farmer's market which had many interesting artisanal food. The cafes were bustling - we only had time for churros con chocolate (where we ordered double because it was sooo good) - but there were many food places - bakeries, pastry shops, cheese, jamon, and everything in between. Would love to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city. The city was bounded by mini forests which was a joy to traverse, with the trail dotted by chestnuts.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
A good place for couples whether pilgrims or not.
A good place for couples whether pilgrims or not. Susana who runs it is so helpful it makes life so easy. The hotel where we ate was very popular with locals and visitors and the food and wine were great. I would revisit but I have now been to Santiago more than once and another visit is probably not on the books. Sadly.Guest review byCaroleUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lavacolla is, I’m guessing, mainly used as a stop off before pilgrims continue their walk to Santiago. It’s also very close to the airport so useful for beginning and end of the Camino. The bar, A Concha, near the church and bandstand does good food!Guest review byFionaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lucia was a gracious host.
Lucia was a gracious host. When we arrived exhausted from a day’s walking, she welcomed us with cold drinks and a relaxing smile. Check-in was a breeze, and we were taken to our comfortable room to recover for the afternoon. Lucia is an exceptional chef! The supper she prepared us was delicious and the breakfast was over the top gourmet. Maria was attentive and charming with her supper service. What a great oasis on the Camino Del Norte!Guest review byLaurelCanada
