From the moment we arrived, there was a wonderful, calming aroma. The staff at reception were very helpful and genuinely pleased to see us. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the whole Hotel. Breakfast was amazing! Even if you didn't book, you could pay 10euros 50cents for breakfast that had it all. I only wished I was staying longer. One of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is ideal, with a stunning view that you get to enjoy every morning from the perfectly positioned infinity pool and restaurant terrace. The pool itself was the perfect temperature—very refreshing and relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering us great tips that led us to some of the best restaurants in town. The welcome process was smooth and warm, making us feel relaxed from the start. Our room was upscale, comfortable, and high quality—everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The food and drinks were also top-notch, with great attention to both flavor and presentation. Overall, a beautiful and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful hotel, very well located. The staff was very kind and had all types of kind attentions for us. The breakfast was simply amazing, so was the restaurant for dinner. We really liked the interior garden. Moreover, the hotel is directly in the historical pedestrian centre of Salamanca and enables you to walk easily to all places.

We had a junior suite. Worth every penny. Large room, big and comfortable bed, sofa, 2 chairs, table, good bathroom with a clever design. Dog friendly if you stick to the atrium restaurant for dinner and breakfast which we did. Both were excellent and they even provided gluten-free bread with our Express breakfast (coffee, orange juice and tostada).

A hotel with a five star feel but relaxed and efficiently managed. Very big room with excellent beds with nice furniture around. . The bathroom and the amenities were fantastic, the view from the balcony was nice. the hotel is right at the juncture of old and new town. We could really relax at Salamanca at the end of our trip. Very attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.

Amazing breathtaking view on the Cathedral of Salamanca. Spacious and clean rooms. Try the coffee area if you want a tasty and afforable bite. The restaurant was great in terms of service, but food did not justify the price. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

We were travelling from the Algarve to Santander to catch the ferry to UK. This was a perfect place to stopover as it was about 2/3rds of the journey. We set off mid morning, arriving around 1900, in time to relax with a drink on the lovely terrace before dinner in the dungeons (excellent meal - best to book your table online with the castle directly). After a leisurely breakfast, it was an easy 3.5 hour drive to Santander to catch the afternoon ferry.

This a motel, not hotel. Bed and parking only. No food available unless you walk approximately 5mins along an unlit main road. Restaurant closes at 6pm on a Sunday. Check in is done remotely via an intercom and camera. If you do not understand or speak Spanish you are on a hiding to nothing. Positives: Parking is guaranteed and very secure. This is our first time of staying since Covid and we will not be returning after our experience this time.

    Salamanca is a beautiful place.

Salamanca is a beautiful place. There are many historic buildings worth a visit but the town still feels authentic. A weekend stay is ideal - we saw so many family events in the Plaza Mayor and in the churches that delighted us. The university building and the art nouveau museum were highlights for us. A walk by the river and a rest in the park by the city walls are a must. We loved Vinodiario for dinner and Palacio de Castellanos for terrace drinks and lunch

The Medieval Fair was on the weekend we were there with free events and people dressed in costume roaming around the streets which made it very special. The streets were decorated with flags and the mood was warm despite the downpour on the Sunday, It was perfect to view the buildings, walls, bridge and castle during this time and to get a glimpse into life back then in this environment. The road that google told us to go down was closed because of the festival but a friendly local got out of his car to talk to us - in Spanish - we couldn't understand much but enough to know to follow him on an alternate route and it took us to the apartment. True Spanish hospitality from a complete stranger.....
