- From US$77.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,674 reviewsWe had a junior suite. Worth every penny. Large room, big and comfortable bed, sofa, 2 chairs, table, good bathroom with a clever design. Dog friendly if you stick to the atrium restaurant for dinner and breakfast which we did. Both were excellent and they even provided gluten-free bread with our Express breakfast (coffee, orange juice and tostada).Guest review byBarbaraSpain

Very big room with excellent beds with nice furniture around. . The bathroom and the amenities were fantastic, the view from the balcony was nice. the hotel is right at the juncture of old and new town. We could really relax at Salamanca at the end of our trip. Real value for money.Guest review byBhaswatiIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 922 reviewsVery attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom

Try the coffee area if you want a tasty and afforable bite. The restaurant was great in terms of service, but food did not justify the price. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.Guest review byRobertoSwitzerland

Bejar was ok as a jumping off point.
Bejar was ok as a jumping off point. If we were to come back to the area we would probably stay in Candolario,. a small town that is more picturesque and only 13 minutes away. The visit to the Plaza del Toro was definitely worth the time as was walking the wall of Bejar.Guest review byMad JohnUnited States - 10.0

We were travelling from the Algarve to Santander to catch the ferry to UK. This was a perfect place to stopover as it was about 2/3rds of the journey. We set off mid morning, arriving around 1900, in time to relax with a drink on the lovely terrace before dinner in the dungeons (excellent meal - best to book your table online with the castle directly). After a leisurely breakfast, it was an easy 3.5 hour drive to Santander to catch the afternoon ferry.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A hidden gem in the Salamanca province.
A hidden gem in the Salamanca province. One of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen in Spain. So spotlessly clean, so nicely-kept and we particularly liked that it was not full of souvenir shops.Guest review byACFamilySpain - 4.0
This a motel, not hotel. Bed and parking only.
This a motel, not hotel. Bed and parking only. No food available unless you walk approximately 5mins along an unlit main road. Restaurant closes at 6pm on a Sunday. Check in is done remotely via an intercom and camera. If you do not understand or speak Spanish you are on a hiding to nothing. Positives: Parking is guaranteed and very secure. This is our first time of staying since Covid and we will not be returning after our experience this time.Guest review byDaveGibraltar - 10.0
Salamanca is a beautiful place.
Salamanca is a beautiful place. There are many historic buildings worth a visit but the town still feels authentic. A weekend stay is ideal - we saw so many family events in the Plaza Mayor and in the churches that delighted us. The university building and the art nouveau museum were highlights for us. A walk by the river and a rest in the park by the city walls are a must. We loved Vinodiario for dinner and Palacio de Castellanos for terrace drinks and lunchGuest review bymichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The Medieval Fair was on the weekend we were there with free events and people dressed in costume roaming around the streets which made it very special. The streets were decorated with flags and the mood was warm despite the downpour on the Sunday, It was perfect to view the buildings, walls, bridge and castle during this time and to get a glimpse into life back then in this environment. The road that google told us to go down was closed because of the festival but a friendly local got out of his car to talk to us - in Spanish - we couldn't understand much but enough to know to follow him on an alternate route and it took us to the apartment. True Spanish hospitality from a complete stranger.....Guest review byCollinBAustralia
