- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 279 reviewsAnso is a beautiful small village - couple bars - one grocery shop - one bakery - very small but all people very friendly and it has a pool on camping place where you can go in case of hot weather. Simple stay - felt like home/ Casa Taconera - very friendly staff - always helpful with smile :) - Apartments really clean and basically new - beds very comfortable. I was with children and booked 2 rooms - and both rooms were excellentGuest review byMonikaGermany
- From US$105.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 836 reviewsThey have the most attentive staff that we have ever experienced and we have years of travel experience. I would rate them more than 5/5 if possible, they exceed the Marriott's, Hilton's or other 5 * chains by far. The food is excellent - the prices correct - the place nice and comfy. If we are closer than 100 km's we will always return. MILA MILA ESKER!Guest review byTheoBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsWe stayed last year and loved it so much we made a return visit for a couple of extra nights this time. The location is perfect, the apartment is one of two in a small building next to the main house, and the view from our patio looked up a wooded slope to the mountains. it is on the edge of town with views of the Church, and any easy 10 min walk to the centre.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 200 reviewsI felt like the owners couldn’t do enough for me. I arrived in the middle of a busy lunch service but I was checked in and supplied with the cold drink I so desperately needed. Great room, excellent sleep for the two nights that I stayed. Nice food. Perfect for my rest day on the GR11. Thank you.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom
- From US$83.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 486 reviewsGood heating, hot water, full kitchen, nice and quite, free parking. There is a storage place for your skies downstairs, but with no heating :( Iberdrola is installing EV charging station near the hotel, but it was inactive during our stay. The road to Astún take around 20 minutes.Guest review byIvanSpain

A pretty little town in the Pyrenees.
A pretty little town in the Pyrenees. Good local amenities, eg supermarket that stayed open late, little shops, bars, and restaurants although we mainly did our own cooking in our appartment. Immediate walking from Canfranc Estacion would be difficult as it's in a steep sided valley, but a short drive to Astun takes you to the base of chairlifts which whisk you up into the glorious mountains and access to hiking paths at the top- really lovely. Visitors might enjoy the sheep and mini horses with bells around their necks- quite a surreal sound!Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great for families with children or beginners in general.
Great for families with children or beginners in general. Lots of offer for beginners and also good for advanced skiers, but beginners have a big separate area that is very safe for first times. Also, excellent teachers at the Escuela de Esquí Candanchu. They are very good with children. If you are looking for lively apres-ski, better to stay in Jaca. However, Candanchu is the perfect place to avoid hassle in the morning, right by the slopes, good facilities and fun. You can pop down to Jaca in the evenings if looking for other activities (ice skating, visiting the Citadelle, the cathedral, good restaurants, etc).Guest review byCristinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely quiet village with variety of walks in the area.
Lovely quiet village with variety of walks in the area. We loved the walk we did from refugio de Linza. Beautiful. Stunning landscape. Need to reserve a table at one of the bar/restaurants if you want more than tapas. It may seem like not many people are around but they have limited space.Guest review byRogerNew Zealand - 8.0

Siresa was a base for me to enjoy nature and wildlife photography. It was ideal to visit the Pyrenees. Travellers should be aware the area is fairly isolated. There is a small mini market in nearby Hecho. My hotel provided picnic lunches which were ideal. There are a few restaurants scatter in the valley. Almost everything closes on Sundays not just here but also in the nearest large town of Jaca.Guest review byCiaranIreland - 8.0

Anso is a wonderful little village in the heart of the Spanish Pyranees. I did not have a car but there are wonderful walks starting and ending from the village. For those people with cars, there are easy day trips to the high mountains. There are wonderful restaurants in Anso - the Kimboa and the Marberal come to mind as particularly delightful. And if you have a car, there are bordas within 8km of Anso up the road to Zuriza that serve absolutely splendid traditional Spanish cooking in a rustic setting. I am 77 but if you are younger, the Grand Route from Anso to Fago and the Grand Route from Anso to Hecho are not miss day hikes that I have done when I was a bit younger. The owner of the Casa Rural Turreta is a potter who makes absolutely wonderful things - and very reasonable!Guest review byekaterina puffiniUnited States - 10.0
