The cleaning was SPOTLESS. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was fresh and nicely arranged. This hotel has the best croissants ever! The entire hotel staff were super friendly and being in their natural serviceminded element. Great location in a quiet part of the city but walking distance to everything. I would come back for sure!

Wonderful hotel with exceptional service. The location is perfect, on Soller Port seafront, gorgeous view from the balcony, splash out for a sea view. Lovely facilities with beautiful landscaped pool area, nice spa, gym and small indoor pool. Excellent onsite restaurant and bar. But what makes it is the staff, so friendly and helpful. Nice little extras like wine, water and snacks in the room, plus a daily little treat. Thank you Hotel Esplendido for a lovely stay.

It is impossible to describe in a few words how fantastic a week we spent in this hotel. It can be classified as more than a four-star hotel! It offers more than what can be read in its modest description. They pay attention to every detail, everything is very elegant and sophisticated. The staff is very kind and helpful, they are always smiling, especially Ivan! The garden is wonderful, it gives enough shade to go to the beach. The pool is super good and also very clean. There are also sunbeds on the direct beach. Thank you very much for your extraordinary attentiveness, we were also awaited with breakfast at four o'clock in the early morning. I am sure we will return to this extraordinary hotel. The restaurant's food is very tasty and plentiful. There is a lot on offer, each night has a different theme .The hotel is located in a quiet little bay where almost only hotel guests bathe, so there are no crowds. The location itself is a very quiet neighborhood, no parties or music. The city of Palma is really close, 15 minutes by taxi, which costs 20-25 euros. The airport is 25 minutes away. I know it's hard to choose between the many hotels, but don't hesitate here, you won't be disappointed. I have been to many places in the world, but this is one of the first. Thank you! A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     I read the reviews before and was a little concerned but I have to stay, we got back last night and had the most amazing holiday. I went with my mum and 3 year old daughter. We stayed in the Serena 2 block and had a lovely clean huge room which was cleaned every other day. It was in a great location to everything on site and with the beach a short walk away. We arrived early hours in the morning and the check in staff were great, gave us a map and directed us to our building, the complex is huge. The entertainment staff are amazing and the kids disco and shows are great too! I was a little concerned about the food, we were All Inclusive and I have to say it was actually very nice, we ate in all the restaurants (Asian, Italian and Mexican) as well as the buffet and all very nice and what you expect from an All Inclusive. Didn’t have any complaints here. The pool snack bars are great for the kids food serving Burgers, hot dogs, onion rings, chips etc and the ice cream also very tasty! The splash parks, slides and parks are great for the kids, loads to choose from. The fun fair was also great for the kids too and reasonably priced. All in all we had a very lovely holiday here at the Bellevue and made some great memories.

    The hotel is clean and most rooms have a very large side view to the sea. Pool area is very nice and clean and the balcony view is amazing. The food was one of the best I ever found in a hotel, with a lot of variety, for all tastes and specific allergies. Lots of fruits and vegetables as well. Our friend who has celiac disease was able to have lots of gluten free options. They also had fresh grilled meat every night and very delicious sea fruit (the grilled sepia was incredible!). There were plenty of fresh towels and sufficient toilet paper and the cleaning ladies cleaned our room every day.They had a show for children every night and also later during the night for adults live music. We had water aerobic with a very nice instructor (included in the price). The staff was very nice and helpful. They were also very welcoming and prepared a cold buffet in the dining room for us as we checked in very late in the night(23 pm).

    I have never met more friendly and competent staff. The food was incredible - no matter how picky you are, everyone will find something. And it's delicious and endless. I highly recommend doing the "all inclusive" package. The family pool was very full and loud, but if you're a grown up you can go to the quite grown up pool which is also pretty full but still good. The spa was so worth it (90 minutes for 16 Euros I think), absolute bliss overlooking the ocean. Hot pools. Saunas. Lovely! I would 100% go again. Suggestion: definitely get a rental car, they are super affordable and the island is majestic to adventure on with your own car.

    What a great city - the cathedral is spectacular -it is easy to get around (we hired bikes). Easy access by walking and the old town is gorgeous - full of little, squares and intriguing little roads. Eating out is so easy (sadly the exchange rate makes it a little pricey) and delicious.

    Playa de Palma is probably the best beach and swimming...

    Playa de Palma is probably the best beach and swimming experience I've ever had. The sand beach is nearly perfect, the water is crystal clear; it is a very shallow entry beach – something I usually dislike – but in this case it makes fun swimming 200-300 m off the cost and returning back. Very beautiful promenade. Lots of restaurants and shops. A half-hour away from the city of Palma, which is magnificent. Overall, a great sea resort experience.

    Arenal is really nice, love the beach and surprised to that there was relatively quiet. We went to the part of Arenal closer to Palma, just seems cleaner. Love to bicycle into Palma, Palma is amazing

    Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife...

    Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    Typical Spanish tourist town.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    Can Pastilla is a very peaceful town with a large, beautiful beach and many great places to walk. The promenade to Palma is perfect for running. Unlike Palma, it’s quiet and relaxing, with excellent restaurants. Highly recommended!

    Ideal for any length of a visit. the beach is fabulous There are loads of various bars and varied restaurants which is great for visitors with different preferances. However if you want the best it can only be the American diner We enjoyed STADIUM 63 which had great acts every night and the staff are very friendly and the new owners have continued and improved its great history. The Sunset bar and Banana Joes are also worth a visit.

    Cala dor is a beautiful place with so many beautiful cove beaches Esmeralda very pretty It’s such a safe place everyone is chilled out and relaxed just such a lovely atmosphere everywhere Marina is stunning and beautiful foid our favourite was portofina restaurant staff are very friendly and food is lovely we found marina cheaper to eat than the square as well Maddison’s bar nice atmosphere in the evenings Everything is in walking distance square and marina 5 min walk apart from each other there are lots of hotels in Cala dor situated around the square Just loved Cala dor and will def go back

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is...

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.
