- From US$89.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,622 reviewsWe were a group of 6 people doing the Camino from France to Santiago (5 by bike and 1 with a support car), and our stay was excellent! There was a safe place for our bikes, easy parking, and we were very well received. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a great location. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer. We highly recommend it to everyone on the Camino – whether by bike or on foot – after many rides and walks, it was just perfect!Guest review byUrâniaBrazil
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 356 reviewsIt’s an amazing spot with people that really made our stay special. You are surrounded by nature in a peaceful mountain village. We were able to enjoy an amazing dinner all nights we have stayed there and the food alone deserves a mention. The farm house is restored with a lot of care, and respect for its history, the owners have great taste in music you enjoy while you are having an aperitivo on the patioGuest review byTomItaly

The town is full of historic buildings and sites, and the surrounding area is stunning and interesting. Being a significant stop on the El Camino Santigo adds to vibrancy. The viticulture and grape industry is beautiful in the surrounding region, and in a very short distance you can be lost in a myriad of very old rural villages.Guest review byMaryNew Zealand - 10.0
Molinaseca is a lively town.
Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.Guest review byEileen HooSpain - 8.0

We stayed in a private room with bathroom with balcony it was a nice room but no wardrobe hangers were available in an alcove area The communal kitchen was ok with minimal utensils but did have outside area too with a bar area which was great as the weather was perfect. Great view of the castle and at night when all lit up looked amazing. Some pilgrims partied til after 11 pm and noise carried Overall a great place to sleep over on the CaminoGuest review byCarrieAustralia - 10.0

If you want to see the Las Médulas World Heritage site, the Mirador of Orellán is the best place to start your visit, because from there you get a great view of the whole area, and it's a good starting point for hiking. The best food in Orellán is at the O Palleiro Do Pe do Forno rural hotel, make sure you reserve a table for dinner.Guest review by__Tamara__Hungary - 10.0
I loved the City it was clean and well maintained.
I loved the City it was clean and well maintained. I got lost and a kind Spanish man helped me get back on the Camino. This man walked with me for 4 kilometres until we found the Camino TRAIL. Ponferrada the City should mark the Camino trail better than they have. Even signage within the city saying “Camino that way. A few other city residents did not have a clue on how to get back to the Camino. The Knights Templar Castle was a sight to see.Guest review byWilliamCanada - 10.0
Villafranca del Bierzo is an amazing town, full of history...
Villafranca del Bierzo is an amazing town, full of history and with beautiful historic buildings. It is truly an enchanted medieval town in the path of the french Camino de Santiago. We arrived for the town’s celebration of their patron: “El Cristo de la Esperanza”. The “Ayuntamiento” organized a lot of activities, a fair, concerts until late night, wine tasting and tapas. It was memorable. The town is in the UNESCO list of historic places. The Church of Santiago with Las Puertas del Perdon, the church of San Nicolas, La Colegiata, the church of San Francisco have been built centuries ago and are witnesses of the history of the town. These buildings are artistic representations of other times and tell you about the glorious past of Villafranca del Bierzo and its vibrant present. The food is delicious.Guest review bySilviaUnited States - 10.0
