FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 125 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic
- From US$87.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 4,849 reviewsWe had a very spacious and clean room. With access to the garden and in front of it we had sun beds to use. We did eat twice at the buffet, and we had a buffet breakfast as well. The choice was wide and of excellent quality. The restaurant was spacious and the employees very friendly. We tried as well the a la carte restaurant and the food was delicious. Even the pizza and toasties at the snack bar were very nice. The whole infrastructure was good including the spa pool. And the access to the little beach is incredible. You are just 50 meters away to what looks like a private beach. Amazing.Guest review byCarlosGibraltar
- From US$80.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 6,610 reviewsPerfect location for us with good view to Cadiz over the sea and the sandy shore. Close to ocean (in fact the first building from sea). Very clean, convenient with a great variety of services you cannot even imagine. As in pre season it was very good to make excursions in the area towards Gibraltar and over the hills meanwhile at the end of day you could rest on the shore or by the pool. Very nice pool area. Breakfast and dinner exceeded all our expectations. Delicious and a very wide range of varieties. Parking easy and perfect.Guest review byLászlóHungary

The place was very big, clean, there were many stuff to do. Nice view from the balcony on the pool area. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Every evening they organise a new show, for example flamenco, which we could watch from the cute outside bar. Good price for value, very highly recommended!Guest review byKlaraSlovenia

A beautiful city with most attractions within easy walking...
A beautiful city with most attractions within easy walking distance of each other. The old city is charming and immaculate, the streets hosed daily. I felt very safe as a solo traveller, including the evenings, particularly in the old town. The main reason for visiting was to sketch and paint around the city and I was not disappointed for inspiration. I visited at the end of September, and the temperature reached as high as 30 degrees. I can imagine it would be comfortable to sightsee well into the autumn/winter.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Malaga is a great city to explore with the added loveliness...
Malaga is a great city to explore with the added loveliness of the beach, the port, the botanical gardens and the historic theatre & castle. The old part of the town is awesome with the small streets, museums, cathedral and little churches. Lots of tasty menus too if you're the adventurous type & like to use your language skills. We took a coach to Gibraltar and would have ventured to Granada and other nearby places had we been there longer.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Grenada is a very welcoming city, it is a city of culture.
Grenada is a very welcoming city, it is a city of culture. The churches and cathedral are stunning and a visit to the Alhambra Palace is a must see. But book tickets on-line at least two months in advance to avoid disappointment. If you are looking for a great dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere, I recommend the Carmen Aben Humeya restaurant. The restaurant has amazing views looking out towards the Alhambra Palace. Great food at a reasonable priceGuest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
My wife is from Cordoba, so i love it.
My wife is from Cordoba, so i love it. Family visits and this time a wedding ! The old town, centre and river are wonderful to visit, so many locations to see. One of my favourite locations in the world. Bodegas Campos - incredible venue, and Pepe de la Juderia - superb. However have noticed a decline in city maintanice - broken paving everywhere, and the drains - walking around was always met with a rich aroma.Guest review bySoniaSpain - 10.0
Great coastline full of lovely beaches.
Great coastline full of lovely beaches. Sandy, safe, clean water and suitable for sunbathing or for families. Lots to do in Marbella itself but absolutely miles upon miles of coastline to work with, with lots of beach bars and little villages along the way.Guest review byjoUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Easy to get to via train and bus. Wide, clean beaches, a very efficient town hall from my experience. People are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, not to most architecturally interesting of towns, but safe and welcoming. Malaga is in very easy reach for a wider cultural experience of Spain.Guest review byTedUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It was excellent, I have already covered this in detail in my review /Likes. The Cathedral was Magnificent inside and out, but it isn't in your sights below, because I didn't see those listed, I can't give an opinion; it was great for photos I took lots. If any of the sights below were like the Museum(Roman)and in the mina area and the beautiful beaches from the tour bus, also the tower and the music hall adjacent I would expect them to be great as well, everywhere was beautiful.Guest review byjohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Fuengirolla is a busy resort that spreads along the coastine past Los Boliches to Torreblanca. You can find beaches, restaurants and bars to suit your taste. The 'Square' is at the heart of the town, the Bubba Bar and Casa Colon being our favourites. The train is an easy way to visit other local areas as far back as Malaga at very reasonable prices. What's not to like?Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Pretty coastal town, beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. Need a car to conveniently explore other locations, other than Frigliana which has many bus services. Not as much Spanish music, as I hoped.Guest review byPatriciaAustralia
