We had a 1 night stop on our way home from holidays. It gave us everything we needed - comfortable bed, hot shower and super easy self check-in. Close to highway but still far enough to have a peacful night. It was so nice that I would recommend it for longer stays as well 🙂

The amazing people who went out of their way to please you as far as making phone calls so I could continue my journey to find the displaced persons camp in the village and organising a taxi for me as I had lost my phone.The hotel was super clean and the guest was the most important person to look after which doesn’t apply to most hotels.

    Beautiful setting in the country.Would have liked a smiling face to greet us! Thank goodness we are computer literate! The modern bedrooms were very original! Had difficulty finding the hotel—WAZE did not do a very good job!And we got lost so we were a good forty minutes late,arriving at 8p.m.!And it was getting dark therefor finding the sign for the hotel was difficult! However we would like to return one day!

    I really love visiting Buckeburg, summer or winter the Schloss always has something on. The old town is lovely to wander through with a good selection of small independent shops, cafes and ice cream parlours (which are great for people watching) It has a relaxed old world charm not found in many other places. Coffee and cake is obligatory whilst visiting. There is a cafe, Movano, at the top of the Hill near the church, it sells the best home made cake you will eat.

    I simply fell in love with Stadthagen. It is a very beautiful place full of history. It was quiet and the perfect place to explore by foot. A place to visit is what I call the old time square. A pedestrian paradise.

    Loved the five min walk into town.

    Loved the five min walk into town. Quaint picturesque village. Fell in love with the bakeries. Really enjoyed the food trucks and flower vendors. Clothing stores had beautiful selections. Cafes were simply perfect. Fabulous architecture. Totally charming.
