Everything 😊 Hotel very very beautiful (the idea of changing an old school to a Hotel like this AMAZING Parking a lot of spaces ro parc, even if the parking behind the Hotel is full (75places) there are many other places around to parc the car. The rooms where just amazing. Ok may be for some people expensiv (140€/night) BUT if you are 2 people its only 70€ and for that Price YOU GET BREAKFAST INCLUDED and a reallly reallly nice room with a big Shower. WiFi is free and works perfect. Breakfast in the morning is amazing for this price. You have many choices. Stuff were really friendly amd informal. They hslp you wherever and with whatever you need as Information.

    My entire experience from check-in to checking out was wonderful. Had dinner at the in house Restaurant and the food was brilliant. The bar has got a nice cozy feel, and it makes you want to stick around. The room was really spacious, unique deco more on the lines of an African Safari/tribal feel.     Perfect location just a few minutes from HafenCity University station but if you like walking is only 15-20 min to the center. Large, clean and quite rooms. Good place for kids. Lovely breakfast, fast free internet and free drink in the room. So sure if I go to Hamburg again JUFA Hotel HafenCity will be my first choice.

    If you want to catch the true spirit of Hamburg, stay at this hotel. The view from the rooms facing river Elbe is priceless. You get to see all the big ships coming in from all over the world in a panoramic view. The rooms are highly comfortable, with a lot of attention paid to details. You get there by ferry.

    Room, breakfast, facilities all excellent. The bar is a "must have" were it only for the spectacular views of the Alster and the city. We treated ourselves also to a dinner in the Lakeside restaurant. Great menu, very creative and delicious dishes, and the wine pairing offered was for the most part super.

    This was our first time in Hamburg and I am very impressed.

    This was our first time in Hamburg and I am very impressed. We were only there for 1 day and a half, but could easily stay a whole week to experience everything. Recommedation: Take the city tour hop on hop off bus, do a full circular route (90 minutes) and make notes of where you would want to spend more time. Then take the bus again (ticket is valid for the whole day) and get off at specific interest points. This will take a whole day. Definitely do the Miniature wonderland. But again, put aside a lot of time for this. This place is incredible!!! Do one floor (2 hours), have lunch, and then do the other floor. (2 hours). Take ferry 62, its included in public transport. Great way to see the city from a different angle.

    Highly recommend Miniature Wunderland, that was cool but I advise getting there as early as possible because it gets very busy which makes it less enjoyable. The food is cheap in there looking at their website, but you can also being your own which is nice. The zoo was also good, but expensive (£26) for it's size. You also have to pay almost the same price to get into the aquarium as well, so we didn't bother with that. Hamburg in general seems like a very expensive city, coming from London, things were almost the same price such as food & drink in a lot of places. You can save a little money by getting the HVV app to buy transport tickets. Visually, there is so much graffiti in Hamburg, it's everywhere. I don't think I've seen that much in any other city I've been to. But besides that, the public transport was clean and I didn't feel unsafe in the city.

    I've spent longer periods in Hamburg...this was merely a layover on a trip where I was en route from Denmark to southern Germany and the Alsace (France). Hamburg requires a least a week to enjoy its museums and night life. It's a fantastic place for both life and history.
