Perfect location, very close to the beach and still close to the commercial area (15min walk). My room looked directly on the dune and nature and it was lovely. The staff was very nice and helpful. I only stayed one night but that's the kind of place I would stay for a few days to enjoy the sea.

    A diamond among hotels, you feel completely at home and in good hands from the first second. The hotel is easy to reach by car and has ample free parking. They rooms are nicely furnished with mini fridges. The breakfast is sufficient and has something for everyone. The beach is easily accessible on foot but there is also a bike rental right next door. If you've never been to the area, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

    super friendly staff, all very attentive and very nice. we traveled for the first time with our little baby and it couldn’t been a better experience. the breakfast buffet was also very good and you should definitely try the homemade lemonade there, it was awesome!! thank you very much for everything and will definitely recommend and come back :)

    Simply an amazing hotel - i have travelled all over the world and rarely found a hotel in Germany where I felt that relaxed and welcome - it is not your typical hotel but has much more the feeling of a beautiful family run high quality guest house you would find in New Zealand or the like. I will definitely return!

    Great hotel. Fabulous Breakfast. Comfortable Bed. Good Wifi. Lovely bathroom. And a piece of cake in the afternoon. Also it was right next to the station so when my train didn't arrive I could pop back and drink some more tea until the next train came. Really great. I'd like to return especially for the breakfast.

    The beach is incredible. Really.

    The beach is incredible. Really. The restaurants are ridiculously expensive and the offer is very narrow. Curry worst €10.50! Simple salads €18.50. And if you consider that Fish Sandwiches are food you’re in luck, because that is really about it. That and Italian food. The only "good" meal I had was down on the beach at Arche Noah and it was pasta, of course. The "Baths" are a bit thin on the ground. Not a spa at all. Not even close. But something to do when it is raining, though you may have to wait 2 hours to get in.

    Tönning is a small town with some interesting spots for a short trip, even in the fall/winter season. We visited the 'Multimar Wattforum', a very interesting and informative exhibition about the 'Wattenmeer', that can be visited at all weather conditions. We visited the beach of St. Peter Ording and spent some time in Husum. Both locations are easily reachable by train (hourly commuter train). We will come back in summer to enjoy the swimming pool, the North Sea beaches and potentially the Danish neighborhood.
