This place is a gem. Very close to public transit and one stop from the airport, close to stores. Lovely balcony with table and chairs. Next to a road but excellent sound insulation. Electric shutters allow for complete darkness. Everything new and in good condition. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Nice shower. Great value.

    City Krone is located in the pedestrian zone of Friedrichshafen, a few steps from the lake with restaurants and amenities. The hotel is excellent in service, facilities and cleanliness. It has little touches like the roof terrace with lake view, fruits, drinks and fresh popcorn in the lobby. Bar and wellness center are great, the breakfast is excellent. City Krone my preferred place to stay in Friedrichshafen.

    This was the best hotel my wife and I ever stayed at! Breakfast and dinner is included in the price. The food was amazing; especially the breakfast. Next, we had the junior suite and it was comfortable, spacious, and had two bathrooms. FYI, there are no kids allowed here due to some pool areas people are allowed to be naked.

One of the main points I wanted to mention is the excellent staff (Ostina Makaskey) she took care of us upon arrival and was super nice with dealing with my kids.     I booked a room that had a balcony overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. There was a mini bar fridge, glasses, bathrobes and a rain shower. There is a spa, pool, restaurant and bar at the property. The whole stay was calming and was just what I needed.

    On this trip, I simply wanted to eat local food and visit...

    On this trip, I simply wanted to eat local food and visit the Mercedes Benz Museum. Although I arrived on a Sunday, which can be a good day to travel, I had no trouble finding a small restaurant with interesting pizza options near the Unger hotel, which is about a block from the main train station. I was able to purchase a three-day public transit pass at hotel reception, but had difficulty finding a machine to validate the pass because many of these machines were broken in the transportation center. I came prepared with an S-bahn map, so I had no trouble getting around. I enjoyed taking a bus (45) from Bad Canstatt to the Mercedes museum. It was easy and I discovered a cafe that sold canollis in the Bad Canstatt train station that was memorable. I am looking forward to a future visit to make more discoveries and see the Porsche museum in a different area.

    When we got off the train and checked into the hotel we instantly wanted to leave Heidelberg. The area around the train station is dirty and not interesting, but the old town of Heidelberg turned out to be a gouge surprise! It's amazing! We couldn't get over how vibrant of a town it was. Every corner has something wonderful happening around it. I would highly recommend visiting.

    Definitely recommend to take the tram for sightseeing. The tram tickets are easily obtainable at the vendor machines at almost every Haltestelle for everyone’s convenience. Hop on and hop off as you please, there is plenty to see. To me, the central city cobblestone streets with the tram passing through reminded me of Bulgarian capital city of Sofia very much. Worth a visit!

    The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.

    I have visited Konstanz frequently some time ago, and it was a great pleasure to see it had not changed much after 15 years. Very friendly quaint town right across from the Swiss border, with great outdoors, parks, superb Lake Konstanz views and very friendly locals. I would call it a hidded Gem.

    Wonderful picturesque town, in particular impressive the "Fischer Viertel" (fisherman's quarter) full of colorful houses which appear to have given in to the weight of time by skewing the orthogonality of their construction.     Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park.

    Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park. Other friends of mine prefer Ringsheim because it’s cheaper, but i walk to Europa Park, eat fruhstuck at the bakery, and i can drink beer or wine without having to drive my car, because it is at the pension. Also saves you 10 - 15 euro per day!

    Baden-Baden is worth a couple of days if you want to see the original European spa town, on the edge of the Black Forest. Two thermal spas dominate the town. There are good rail connections: we came from Munich with one brief change for a 3-hour total journey; there is a 1.5 hour direct train to the Frankfurt airport, which makes Baden-Baden convenient for those using Condor or other Frankfurt-based airlines.

    This is a key hub on Lake Constanz and the home of the Graf Zeppelin, thus the great museum. It is an excellent place to base a visit to other towns and sites on Lake Constance whether by ferry, train or bus (and we did all three). Best of all it is not overrun by tourists
