We had an amazing time with lovely Leo and all the staff .They made us gorgeous breakfasts every morning and helped us book tours. The night time frog tour was magical. We slept very well in the cosy beds and he was very quiet. Beautiful scenery and views of the volcano. It is worth having a car. Definitely recommend!

This was an extraordinary experience and for sure the best way to be close to Arenal volcano . The view from the room is amazing . Equipped with a really good bed it’s the best way to experience the forest with highest comfort. From the balcony you see and hear a lot of birds. And the staff is amazing, they are very welcoming and help you with everything you need - always with a smile ! My personal highlight was my morning coffee on the balcony swing watching and listening to the forest . It’s the best and worth every cent !

Arenal Amor is an incredible piece of paradise! The serene atmosphere and stunning views make this place unforgettable, but what truly made our stay magical was the top-notch spa and service from the staff. We had the best massage of our lives—it was pure perfection. The therapists were incredibly skilled, and the tranquil open-air setting elevated the entire experience. To top it off, we were treated to the enchanting sight of monkeys playing in the trees during our massage! It felt like something out of a dream. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and fresh. Nothing quite like starting your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee while toucans flutter through the trees. Special thanks to Jogebeth, whose warmth and impeccable service made our stay even more special. From her attention to detail to her genuine care for our comfort, she went above and beyond.     The centre is not over touristified. A few good supermarkets. A good variety of food options, with some good Sodas. A lot of accommodation to choose from. Nice Central Park. Many activities to choose from, and easy to get transport to them if you don’t have a car. The Mundo 12 zip lines can’t be missed.

    Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Staff and Service were top notch.

    Our favorite places or our highlighted places are La Fortuna Waterfall, Hanging Bridges, hiking volcano Arenal, visiting Don Juan coffee and chocolate tour and also visiting bALDI hotsprings. places to eat are for cheaper prices was Restaurante Tiquicia, La Patrona, tierra mia and also for fine dining we recommend Restaurante Fortuneno. its very easy to get around fortuna even its abou 1 hour drive if you want to go visit rio celeste.

    We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving...

    We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving to Monteverde for zipline tour, we chose one day of pampering rather than adventure so did not hike around Arenal or paddle board on Arenal. We did white water rafting between Puerto Viejo and Fortuna. We did waterfall repelling near Fortuna (amazing). The people are friendly and the area is lovely. We enjoyed a night time nature tour with our hotel (Noah's Landing) and Nayara Gardens was amazing. We saw plenty of sloths but so much more! We went to the Mistico hanging bridges on a rainy day which worked well-it did not matter. We also visited the Fortuna Waterfall (500 steps down-then 500 steps up but worth it!) If you like adventure- there is plenty. If you want to relax-it is a beautiful place to do so.
