- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsThe cabin was both rustic and beautiful and the setting was amazing. I just wish that we had more time to take a walk through the woods. The people operating the facility were amazing. A trolley was provided to transport your baggage to the cabin. A wonderful breakfast was delivered to the cabin in an animal proof box. I highly recommend the small restaurant that is run by the facility. We had pizza's that rivaled some of the best pizza's that I have had in Napoli, the pizza center of the universe. A wonderful experience. Two thumbs up!Guest review byDanUnited States

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Special thanks to Vicky who guided our workshops for her amazing personality - we could tell how much she cared about the farm animals! And to Sam for the unforgettable sunset kayak tour! The accomodation was no frills but clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I can't wait to go back!Guest review byElenaCanada
- From US$94.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 597 reviewsI chose this place for its location to the ferry and potential whale spotting. The room was a little smaller than expected, but met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to look out at the water from our room, sit outside in a chair and even walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.Guest review byCristinaCanada

Lots of cute coffee places and restaurants within easy walking distance, altho there are some hills. Whale watch with AML was fun. Whale museum was informative. Light hikes/ walks along the shoreline. If you take the bus, note there are no taxis in town to go to the hillside bus stop. You can walk, but it might be too strenuous for some. There may be others but I am only sure that a shuttle is offered to guests of the historic Hotel Tadoussac. Really enjoyed coffee on the sunny porch of Abri Côtier, very close to Hotel Tadoussac. Food was good at Chez Mathilde and there was music the night I went. Cafe Bohème had a good mussel/frites dish. Located next door to the only supermarket I found. Cooler in Tadoussac than in Quebec City.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 10.0

It is just breath taking, the scenary, Saguenay and Lac Saint Jean area is marvelous. Hiking, biking, walks, sight seeing, it has it all. I loved it, and the road towards Saint Feliciene was amazing, the lakes are beautifull.Guest review byRicardo Andrés SalasColombia - 8.0

There's not much here, but for a 2-night stay it was perfect, centered between La Malbaie, Tadoussac and most importantly, L'Anse St Jean which was our jump off point for a fjord/whale cruise/tour. Take a minute to sit at the quai at Port-au-Persil. Just a beautiful place and you might even see belugas if lucky. We were close enough to be able to go to both Tadoussace and to La Malbaie for supper. A stop at the Fromagerie St-Fidèle is worth your time... fresh curds, every day!Guest review byBryan HortonCanada - 10.0

What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, it was on the sweet side (it would be nice with some protein options ie. hard boiled eggs, cheese, and non-canned fruit options),Guest review byAngelaDenmark - 10.0
Quaint village. Pretty houses.
Quaint village. Pretty houses. A supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and public dock. Lots of places to stay from camping to bed and breakfasts and cottages. Ideally situated for taking a boat whale watching or kayaking the fjord. Hilly terrain if you are biking. Must have a car to travel.Guest review byhilaryCanada - 8.0
The best place to get accommodated if there are less options...
The best place to get accommodated if there are less options at Tadoussac. It is calm, safe and perfectly surrounded with all the essentials like gas station, grocery shops, pharmacy, restaurants, ice-cream shops, etc. It's well-accessible from both Tadoussac and Saguenay. Staying here provides a great alternative to reach Quebec City (via Saguenay) especially when the ferry (route 138) at Tadoussac takes so long.Guest review byUmashankarCanada - 8.0
Nice little town near the fjord park.
Nice little town near the fjord park. The town’s quay on the fjord is pretty and just a few km from the highway. Auberge du Jardin is recommended for a night or two, as is the nearby restaurant Lez Artes.Guest review byAnn ElaineCanada - 8.0
Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Parking is much too expensive, but the town is small enough to walk everywhere. The whales didn't show up. For a tourist town, too many signs are French only with no English translations!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Saguenay is a beautiful sector, North of Quebec, which seems like the diamond in the rough. No one would think about going to Sagueneay, however, they have great outdoors, both winter and summer. Definitely, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the great outdoors.Guest review byLouisCanada - 6.0
The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom.
The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom. It was too close to ferry. Restaurant was awful. Someone just walked into our cottage in the middle of the afternoon; on another day, someone was peering in our window. If you miss the ferry, you have to wait 4 hrs in a town with nothing to do, hence going to "explore" cottages., while people are staying there. If you want to do anything "exciting", you have to go back to Quebec City or go to Tadoussac. NOTHING TO DO IN ST-SIMEONGuest review byLouiseCanada
