- From US$129.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 223 reviewsWe absolutely LOVED our stay here!! An excellent location with amazing views, and rooms perfectly equiped. My kids and I loved the pool, and there was nothing nicer than having breakfast and dinner in front of the big window overlooking the inlet and the activity! Also, such friendly and helpful service from beginning to end, including a phone conversation prior to arrival. And the incredible driftwood scuptures were a joy to see! We definitely want to come back soon!Guest review byReikoFrance

The lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming and upgraded us to the entire suite when we only booked a basic double as we were the only guests at that time. (Off peak season). The pub attached is fantastic also, cannot recommend this place enough, all the staff are friendly and the pool table is free!Guest review byMatthewAustralia

The grizzly bear tour to Butte Inlet with Homalco Tours was absolutely amazing! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and we saw many grizzly bears including mum's with their cubs and a huge male feeding on salmon. I can't recommend this tour company enough. Thank you for making our trip so amazing!Guest review bycarolineCanada - 10.0
Mountain and Comox Bay Scenery were great.
Mountain and Comox Bay Scenery were great. Downtown Courtenay had many interesting shops, good coffee shops and bakery. Traffic across river can be slow at times. Adjacent to Comox is a bonus with Comox marina, beautiful sea views and Comox airport is 4 km from Courtenay. Courtenay is walkable. Chocolate shop/bakery on main street not to be missed.Guest review byWayneCanada - 10.0

It's a seaside town with an air base, an air museum, a marina and various parks. BC generally isn't big on organised attractions, and though there are paths along coasts you won't find ice cream vans, bucket and spade shops etc. This is Canadian seaside, and it's very different from the Victorian English vision of what a seaside resort should be like.Guest review byPearCiderUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It's lovely to watch the stars by the water enjoying the campfire at night, the view is breathtaking during the day. Unfortunately, the owners are not using the place up to its potential. There are much more things that can be done to this place.Guest review byErzsebet DokaCanada - 8.0

Gold River is a small town, but has sufficient facilities for travelers. I highly recommend that any visitor include a drive further down the highway to the end of the inlet where there are float plane tours and boat tours available. The views of the ocean and mountains from shore at the dock is spectacular.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

Cumberland is one of the Hidden Gem towns of British Columbia. Lots to do there, considering it's a small town, and worth visiting especially if you enjoy walking, hiking, mountain biking, etc. If you arrive in a vehicle, Cumberland can be a convenient center for exploring the outdoors in every season: alpine or cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, or fat-tire biking in winter; swimming and boating, etc., in summer; and hiking all year round. Cumberland is a vibrant town with pubs and restaurants, excellent parks, some little shops. Nice relaxing place!Guest review byJohnCanada - 10.0

We loved the hiking, waterfalls, wildlife and so much more. The Visitor Centre was very helpful. Only complaint is for the Provincial Parks…there needs to be better signage in the trails for safety.Guest review byAnonymousCanada - 8.0

Stopped here one night before flying from Comox airport. Seemed a nice local town and residential area with small independent shops. We didn’t have time to visit any nearby attractions or eat at local restaurants.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Comox has lots of beautiful areas to explore. The town was cute and had everything you needed plus some interesting stores. Great little getaway place. Plus there is also Courtenay and Cumberland right there for more areas to visit.Guest review byLouidsCanada
