- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 666 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived, we knew we were in experienced, well trained hands. We were especially impressed with room service. They responded to requests, (often not on the menu) with unusual understanding and even better, everything that arrived at our room was delicious. The staff members we encountered, without exception, inquired about our satisfaction with the hotel. Everyone is well trained and good at what they do. Therefore I must believe that this attention to detail starts with senior management at guest services and that magic works its way throughout the hotel. The view from our room was spectacular but the people who work there are even better. Thank you for a memorable stay, Rimrock!Guest review byDouglasUnited States

We stayed in one of the "lodges" and was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. It had a chalet type feel and the full kitchen was perfect for the stay we were looking for. The location was also great and easy to get around town.Guest review byScottCanada

Spending time in the mountains is always fantastic.
Spending time in the mountains is always fantastic. The Grizzly Paw has two locations that were amazing, there was a hidden 'speakeasy' we went to that was so fun. Lots of places for eating and sightseeing all within walking distance of each other. Loved that they close down a section of the main road. Great for anything outdoors.Guest review byMarixaCanada - 10.0
What can I say except for WOW!
What can I say except for WOW! My husband and I were there in Sept/Oct and everywhere we turned was another magnificent view of a mountain, glacier, canyon, lake. We rented bikes and rode to Vermillion Lakes and beyond. We hiked up Johnston Canyon, we took easy and more challenging walks, and met people from around the world. We flew into Calgary, drove to Banff, then to Castle Junction and stayed in two places I would recommend - Johnston Canyon Lodge and Bungaloos and Castle Mountain Chalets. We had a great trip!Guest review byChinelli - 10.0

It was just superb. The apartment was big enough to make us feel at home. Jenny, our host is very helpful and ever ready. The apartment is very well equipped with modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay. we would definitely prefer to stay again.Guest review byNinaIndia - 10.0
Nice Main Street with lots of touristy shops.
Nice Main Street with lots of touristy shops. Plenty of places to eat. Wouldn’t want to visit in the main season as it was busy when we were there in September. Loads to see and do in the surrounding area with great transport links to the Gondola, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the other tourist hot spots.Guest review byCarolUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Much less busy than Banff, so easier to get around and quieter in town. It is also less expensive and all the people we met were very friendly. We went on a river ride, if we had stayed longer we would have gone hiking and explored the surrounding area more. Great outdoor market in Elevation Place.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A wonderful spot for a family get-together.
A wonderful spot for a family get-together. We had 6 cabins, close to each other, very clean and big enough to be very comfortable. Kitchens had everything one could think of to prepare our meals. Lots of open space for children to run free and play safely without any worry about traffic. The Johnson Canyon hike just down the road is amazing but it is likely best not to plan to do it on a long weekend in the summer as crowded.Guest review byGailCanada - 8.0

Location was relatively close to Nakiska where we were skiing and close to Canmore if one wanted to go out to dinner or needed groceries. Lots of activities to do in the Canmore area and adjacent Banff National Park.Guest review byStuartCanada - 10.0

Banff is a great place with a super vibe based on the beauty of the forest and mountains. Kids working the restaurants and bars are really nice. In September, we didn’t find it noisy or too crowded but just right. You can easily drive or bike to many local attractions. I recommend a E bike.Guest review byDr Louis CardinalCanada - 10.0
