We had to stay in Golden.
We had to stay in Golden. We had appointment in Radium, were taking others with us that weren't able to go until Sat morning. Golden is not a tourist "mecca" just a means to an end. Ate at the Wolf's Den as was told was one of the better in Golden! Extremely over-priced dog food!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

So much to do. Visit the hot springs pool. That is a wonderful experience. Wild mountain and deer right in town. Appreciate the scenery. Invermere is a great little town with a wonderful bakery and restaurants.Guest review byMadeleineCanada - 10.0

Invermere is a gem located on Windermere Lake in the Kootenay area of BC… absolutely beautiful town with lots to offer tourists, including a great public beach and hot springs close by. We love visiting this beautiful town. We were able to get over to Radium Hot Springs and enjoyed breakfast at the Big Horn Café in Radium, which is only a 10-15 minute drive from Invermere.Guest review byCathyCanada - 10.0

Best place ever- we swam in the river, paddle boarded, rafted, spent a day in Invermere, a day at Wasa, went to the waterfall pools, did the footbaths, used the hit springs pool and road our bikes in to Invermere and back to Fairmont. Windermere has a great fruit marketGuest review byBarbieCanada - 10.0

We went to a lovely restaurant called Eleven 22 that was within 5 minutes walk of the complex and the staff there were very helpful. We had a brilliant time at the Golden Skywalk adventure (especially meeting up with Nathan) and did all the activities including the giant swing. Amazing 🤩Guest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Radium Hot Springs is a wonderful and budget-friendly vacation destination. The surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. There’s no shortage of great dining options, including several excellent restaurants and pizza spots to enjoy. The hot springs themselves were a highlight—perfectly warm, clean, and refreshingly uncrowded, making for a truly relaxing experience. I would definitely return when I get the chance!Guest review byArunaCanada - 10.0

The town has a few good restaurants, great walking and hiking areas. Close to a lake. Excellent bike trail from town down to Fairmont Hot Springs. Short drive up to Panorama for summer (hiking, mtn biking, hot springs, golf etc.) and winter (alpine and X-country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, heli-skiing, tandem-gliding) activities.Guest review byMichaelCanada - 2.0

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this place. The facility was in terrible condition. The rooms were extremely outdated and dirty. There was visible mold in the bathtub jets, and a broken window in our room. Flies were trapped in nearly every light fixture, the carpet was filthy, and the pullout bed was stained, unsanitary, and completely unusable. 4 of us needed to sleep in one bed, leading to 4 sleepless nights. There was staining around the bathroom door knob, which I assume was surface mold. While I will say that the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, it doesn’t make up for the poor condition of the hotel itself. The property is in serious need of maintenance and a deep, thorough cleaning. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.Guest review byDanielCanada - 10.0
Beautiful surroundings of the mountains.
Beautiful surroundings of the mountains. This area is perfect for day trips to Banff, Lake Louise and Emerald Lake. Less crowded and less expensive hotels here than Banff. And the drive from Golden to Banff is beautiful.Guest review byFrankieUnited States - 4.0

The town itself, the setting, and the hot springs are very nice! However, accommodation along the main street is becoming more and more dated, and huge demand has made the restaurants and hotels/motels prone to gouging and shoddy service. The town seems to have managed to minimize the number of fast food outlets, thereby promoting local businesses, but those local businesses are lucky they don't have to rely on return customers because many tourists would not go back. We have decided that next visits will be drive-through, with a stop at the hot springs. We will not be staying overnight or patronizing the restaurants.Guest review byPauletteCanada
