- From US$154.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 557 reviewsThird time we have stayed here over many years. Always home from home feeling. Beautiful quiet country environment. Beautiful decor and comfy king sized bed looking out on a quiet balcony. We rode our bikes on the Warburton rail trail from Lilydale and stayed the night. Only a short walk to Warburton town. Home cooked breakfast and a great welcome from Cathy and her husband in the morning. She was so caring and helpful. The river at the bottom of the property is the place to relax. Away from it all. Will be back as soon as we can.Guest review byRB AustraliaAustralia

Phil and Harry are very nice and friendly. They always smiled and accommodated our needs. My husband and I had very comfortable and relaxing massage. The credit goes to Phil and Helen. We really enjoyed our stay, especially for our wedding anniversary. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.Guest review byWing Chi GigiHong Kong

The Spa was the icing on the cake, pre warmed, clean and ready to go upon arrival. I can't wat to visit again❤️Guest review byTarynAustralia

The house was well fitted out with quality fittings and appliances. Our only observation was both bathrooms had over bath showers and due to a few medical problems we find it difficult to get in and out. But overall extremely comfortable and would definitely recommend.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 8.0

Easy to find places of interest and especially great golf courses, but some were overpriced but that is a reflection of the demand. The driving habits of locals on the narrow roads is concerning. Speed limits and good road manners seem to not apply to locals so visitors beware. Other advice is be wary of the BOM, rain and other forecasts associated with the BOM could spoil your plans so best to ignore them and get on with it. The BOM is best taken with a grain of salt ..it’s either your standing in the rain and BOM says it sunny or it’s sunny and they forecast rain.Guest review byRobertAustralia - 6.0

A very small town, lovely to walk along the upper Yarra River however there is not much to do in the main town. The Alpine Hotel was very nice to stop in for a drink. We stopped by Warburton because of the red-wood forests and some nice trails and scenery.Guest review byinthegarage2010Australia - 10.0
Easy walk to the pub and Marysville Gardens.
Easy walk to the pub and Marysville Gardens. Accessibility of Steavonsons Falls and superb with a floodlit path and waterfall lit up until 11pm nightly. Great free nibbles served at the pub bar prior to dinner when buying drinks.Guest review byNicolaAustralia - 10.0
We liked the rural aspect of the town.
We liked the rural aspect of the town. As we came for a private function, we didn't have any time to explore the local attractions. As we have been there before we have seen some of the area. I particularly liked travelling up Mt Dandenong to Olinda for the eateries and the gift shops. We found that we needed a car to get around.Guest review byLORRAINEAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful walks, birdlife is superb(we even saw a lyrebird), and encountered a wombat several times. Weather ranged from sunny, heavy rain, fog and mist but the forest and walk to the Falls were incredible.Guest review byMariaAustralia - 8.0

View into the valley is nice but a little different from the advertised pic. Would have been good for a walk except it was cold and wet during our stay. Wood fire was very much appreciated on a cold night but you might need to let the manager know what you /he expects in terms of wood & cleaning. Lovely comfy bed. Compact bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped & living space is roomy. They are in need of a good solid couch or arm chairs. Owners dogs barked a little but not for long.Guest review byBruceAustralia - 10.0

Our room was perfect, the bed was wonderful, even my husband who is a poor sleeper, slept well, the shower was fantastic and the patio was a delightful surprise complete with a pond and wildlife to help unwind and relax. The rooms are stage in a way that you feel like you are on your own but if you had children, there was space for them to burn energy and be cooped in a room. Dinner in the bistro was just normal food, not special but good and the staff everywhere were friendly and smiled, i appreciated the smiles. a few miles up the road was the township of Mt Evelyn where wee found yummy bakeries and shops to explore and nearby nursuries often had breakfasts. You need to stay here.Guest review bySueAustralia - 10.0
The owners were friendly and helpful.
The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - such a choice in the provisions that were supplied! Cooking facilities meant we could cook the bacon and eggs; croissants were humungous and very fresh! Yummy!! Although it was a cold night outside, the studio was very cosy - heating worked well and electric blanket warmed up the very comfy bed. The location was very peaceful.Guest review byJoybelleAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful area, great food, interesting shops with lots of local artisans, lovely walks in gardens and forest. We spent most of our time in Olinda. You definitely benefit from having a car here. We had the most amazing meal at Citrine.Guest review byJane66Australia
