- From US$164.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsThe cottages are so beautiful! It’s like a fairyland with pretty flowers of different species just outside your different coloured scheme house in the garden. Entering the house was a feast for the eyes with great attention given to every interior decor and details. A bonus to have a TV in every room and hall. Netflix service is provided where you can key in your own account access. There are plenty glassware and pretty plates for your use. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of space created within a mini cottage but fully furnished and equipped. We were pleasantly impressed with a bottle of wine given and a bag of honeycomb chocolates as a complimentary delight. Everything in this stay is wonderful with close walking proximity the the beach. It’s only a 10 mins drive to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor where all the dining restaurants are. We love this place and will highly recommend to our friends!Guest review byMarySingapore

The Heritage precinct on North Terrace was excellent. Would recommend the walking tour and Migration Museum. Cherry Cafe was great for coffee and toasted Banana bread. McClaren Vale and Hahndorf tours were good.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

We like Port Augusta but usually only stay one night because we're passing through. It has many challenges as a community and sometimes gets bad press BUT it is great place to spend at least two nights, and three if you want to relax as well as sight see. The Arid Lands Botanic Gardens are a favourite of ours - best to do a guided tour if you want to learn about our amazing desert flora - and it's OK to have a dog on a leash in a couple of areas. We'd planned to have an arid tasting plate, but the cafe was closing so we missed out on that. The Wadlata Outback Centre is definitely worth a -take-your-time visit and the Yarta Purtli Art Gallery too. The coastal walk is a highlight even if you only do some of it and the Standpipe Hotel's northern Indian menu is fabulous - as it has been for a long time.Guest review byCazAustralia - 8.0
Awesome place to explore.
Awesome place to explore. The old timers mine was very interesting. The Big Rig 360 was great for a meal and sunset drink. The underground motel is a must do experience. If it's not in your budget they will let you have a look around the building and have a cuppa, if the cafe is open.Guest review byTaniaAustralia - 10.0

A great little town. Friendly store keepers.
A great little town. Friendly store keepers. Lots of goodies to be found. And (most important for me,) the terrain is perfect to leave the car at the hotel and go for a long long walk! We brought our own food - mainly to save the pennies and the facility worked for us.Guest review byHeddle - 8.0
No transport needs a car.
No transport needs a car. Winter main st shopping closes early. Lovely to browse through and a mall too. Granite Island is the SHOWPIECE. Horse drawn vintage carriage by Clydesdale's, tourists love it. Op shops fun for elderly folk and grandkids. A quiet in Winter destination. Lovely caravan parks . Books shops to browse new and olde , also found in nearby coastal towns. Bike riding to the Bluff outdoors adventures , surfing nearby. FUN TOWN /laidback too .Guest review byJEFFREYAustralia - 10.0

Best part was the villa and having our own space and kitchen. We were concerned about our car overnight due to many people walking about. It was fine and the accommodation have secured us in the gates . The weather was crazy and we didn’t get to enjoy the beach however the view was beautiful from our villa.Guest review byJulianneAustralia
