- From US$144.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 456 reviewsWe stayed in a cabin, which had a kitchen, lounge, dining area and one double bedroom, with an ensuite. Everything was very spacious and light filled. The bathroom was a great size, with a very large shower and plenty of hot water. The bedroom was also a great size, had a tv, fan and big wardrobe, with shelving and hangers, an ironing board and an iron. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a fridge/freezer, microwave and cooktop. Good bench space, with a toaster and jug. Lots of drawers, cupboards and there is a good selection of crockery, cutlery and pots. Dining table, another Tv, aircon, fan and a lounge suite. Parking beside the cabin as well. The owners are lovely and recommended drives to us (the weather wasn't great), with suggestions off the normal tourist track. There are walks from the park to the surf beach and the quieter beach. There was a coffee van, a swimming pool which can be accessed, playgrounds and a big park. Lots of facilities for campers and caravaners. The park is full of trees, so very shady too. We found it very quiet and peaceful. Very short walk to the town centre with a great choice of cafes, bakeries, restaurants and clubs and pubs. We would definitely return here.Guest review byHelenSpain
- From US$117.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,701 reviewsEverything!!!! Staff were friendly welcoming and so easy to get along with. Kids felt safe and happy to go collect pool towels from staff, which was nice to be able to relax knowing our kids were happy and safe. Cabins were beautiful nice clean and had everything we needed, the bed was comfy nice to come back and relax after long days out and about.Pool area was amazing I was not expecting it to be so big and have all the features it did. Kids definitely enjoyed the time they spend on the slide and under the water feature. Pool lights looked really pretty at night time also. Laundry room was clean and tidy and the clothesline was very handy. BBQ area was perfect for our big families as we enjoyed cooking and catching up there. Location was perfect good bar/ restaurant right at the front entrance. I could go on and on we absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely recommend to all our friends and family that will be passing through. Thank youGuest review byTe Kopa VillaNew Zealand

Stayed in a cabin right next to the water and the path lead to a waterfront restaurant. The facilities were close to cabin - dry/wash clothes. Didn't have time to use the pool but looked nice and clean. (2 min walk from cabin).Guest review byMirandaNew Zealand

Lovely holiday.
Lovely holiday. We really enjoyed The Big Banana, Coffs Coast Wildlife Santuary, the beaches and walks on the jetty and the island. We even saw wales from the top of the island. Our children are 10 and 12.Guest review byVictoriaAustralia - 10.0
Low-key vibe to the area and town.
Low-key vibe to the area and town. Not at all built up, considering it is a popular destination. Loads of great restaurants, accommodation and shops to choose from. Recommend using Byron Bay kayaks for watching the whales and dolphins, a highlight of my trip! Went to Bang Bang restaurant (Asian sharing - good food but noisy) and the Treehouse (great food). We had a car and managed to visit neighbouring towns and beaches, which were also low-key with original buildings, so quaint.Guest review byDebbieNew Zealand - 8.0
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach.
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach. We saw three pods of whales with 9 whales in total. Admittedly, although we could see them from the beach, we needed binoculars to get a better look. Make sure you visit Sea Acres Rainforest Boardwalk, and take your time to listen and soak up the amazing atmosphere.Guest review bySteveAustralia - 10.0
Didn't stay long enough, just stopped for one night.
Didn't stay long enough, just stopped for one night. Had dinner at RSL in the cafe which was good, but later found out they had specials which staff didn't mention the locals told us after. Staff at front door were friendly. Unfortunately weather wasn't the best so didn't do much looking around. Next time will stay longer.Guest review byGemenis - 8.0
A beautiful little coastal town.
A beautiful little coastal town. Perfect to get away from the city. We found the people friendly. The food was a little on the expensive side. But that is expected. Seafood was great! We really enjoyed Yamba. We ate at the Wobbly cook. The calamari was delish, and we also visited the local bakery.Guest review byOdetteAustralia - 8.0

We needed a place for the night which was clean and comfortable and the Blue Pelican suited all our requirements as we were not on holiday, just passing through on a long journey. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms was clean and neat. The Club across the road was just right. The BIstro was very well priced and we had a good choice of meals but enjoyed a roast pork dinner.Guest review byMarilynAustralia - 6.0

Forster is like many other NSW North Coast towns, recreation facilities abound as you are surrounded by Oceans & Lakes. Shopping is mainly centred at the Stockland Mall which is a short car ride away from the centre of town & Beach-side accommodation. There are plenty of Clubs & Pubs for entertainment & if you take yer Fishing Gear you'll be set like a jelly. If you happen to enjoy Oysters the lakeside Oyster Barn is there for your convenience as are many restaurants.Guest review byCapt. Robert McKay GrayAustralia - 2.0

Stay away - drunk or drugged out body in the foyer we had to step over to get to the lift when we first arrived after a flight and drive. "Welcome to the Paradiso". Then our keys would open the verandah - but not open the room itself. Over an hour we stood outside our room on the phone late at night with management - useless. The room through the window looked like squatters were hiding in there - non existent security. Lucky we had a car and could find other accomodation late at night. Thank God for reputable businesses elsewhere.... and here we are over 3 weeks later and they still won't refund our money. And no mention of helping with the extra $600 we had to fork out to get accomodation so late up the road! Beware Beware Beware. And if you do go there - ask to try your key on other units - it's handy because it gives you free access to other peoples verandahs - brilliant.Guest review byLynetteAustralia - 10.0

Nambucca is a lovely picturesque town on the north coast of NSW. It has a lovely beach with an excellent surf club building which offers cold drinks and live music from its upper balcony and stunning views of the ocean and sandy coast line. The walks along the beach both north and south are well worth the effort. The Nambucca river runs along its fringe and flows out into the ocean at the town and there is an easy and interesting walk at the river mouth where many of its protective rocks have been painted with mementos by visitors to the town. There is also a nice 18 hole island golf course on the river.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 8.0

I attended a VWGA golf tournament from Sunday to Wednesday and experienced a friendly atmosphere and the golf course was very challenging but nice to play. Any golfers I would recommend to travel to Taree to play a round or two. Access to everything easy. Would recommend the Sailo's restaurant on the river bank for a meal.Guest review byVirginniaAustralia
