This centrally located hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Berchtesgaden Train Station. Each room has a balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps.

The country-style rooms at Hotel AlpinaRos come with a desk and a private bathroom. A hairdryer is provided. Every aspect of our stay was great! Convenient walk to the train station, although up a hill, smooth check-in by the very attentive and helpful Franz. Small but very nice spa, exceptional breakfast buffet.

The hotel’s location is fantastic – just a short walk to key attractions, shops, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Limited variety and not very memorable compared to similar hotels. Still, I’d recommend this hotel for anyone prioritizing location over extras.

The garden includes a sunbathing lawn. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options, beautiful location - we were lucky enough to get snow during our stay, shuttle bus was available to takes us around the town, great room with balcony with the view for mountains and creek. Reception was able to book our day trip to Zugspitze. The saunas and pools were amazing experience, we had fun on the games room and other facilities on the complex. Most of the staff spoke fluent English. Every night they provide a card to scan, so you can win a free drink on the bar or get free drink recipe. Breakfast and dinner included on the room charge, both delicious!

The location was great, only a shrot walk to the downtown area with many shops and restaurants! Right along a main bike path as well.

Everything was so clean and thr staff (amd dogs!) lovely and friendly. And the dinner was amazing! A 3-course meal with perfectly cooked pork escalope! Note it is a very long and steep walk to & from this property. If that's not your things, blether to stay in the valley. But if you enjoy hiking and nature this is a greatvplace to stay.
