Location was ideal for the purpose of our trip. Our host was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The building has so much character.

St Georges House is situated 8 minutes’ walk from Shanklin town centre and the rail station. From the property, it is a 5 minutes' walk to the cliff-top pathway, which leads down to the beach. Free parking is available on site and complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. Pearly and Mark run a superb B&B. If Shanklin is your preferred location on I.O.W. you can do no better.From Breakfast thru bedtime it's 4 star.

Each spacious apartment at Shanklin Villa has modern décor with wooden floors and stylish furnishings. The open-plan living and dining area has a flat-screen TV and a sofa, while kitchen facilities include a microwave, fridge, kettle, a dishwasher and a washing machine. it was the best apartment for the money, for the group of 8 and very comfortable. Best location, all appliances, the possibility to have intimacy as 2 different families, also great common areas😍. A full English breakfast is provided using fresh local produce where possible. Vegetarian and gluten-free breakfasts are available daily. We had a great stay at The Havelock Hotel. It is a family-run hotel, and the owners are very welcoming and the staff very friendly. Our room was perfect, it did not have a sea view but a separate entrance and a small terrace, which was even better! The hotel is well located, close to the old village. I recommend without hesitation for those who would like to spend a few days in Shanklin
