Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Very big, clean rooms. Rooms are at a good distance from each other which feels very private. We ordered the braai package (a lot of choice and you can choose what you want) and enjoyed making our own BBQ. Swimming pool is also really nice. Location is very close to the gate.

Amazing stay! The place is absolutely stunning — the design is unique, with so much attention to detail. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everything felt truly pampering, and the property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff really take care of everything you might need. We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a lovely handwritten card in the room — such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about the little details. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss it! And at night, the sky full of stars is just magical.

Set 40 km from Sesriem Canyon, Desert Homestead Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The location is excellent about 30km to the Park gate Peaceful and rejuvenating Service excellent and very accommodating Comfortable rooms Rooms are very private Meals exceptional! Can’t say enough great things about this lodge we weren’t disappointed!

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Like being on a private game reserve- saw rhinos, deer up close. beautiful cottages. Huge property Very quiet. Excellent meals. Very nice and responsive staff.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Cases separades a 1 km del Namib Naukluft Lodge que es on hi ha la zona comuna, recepció, restaurant, etc. El sopar a l'aire lliure va estar molt bé i és molt interessant agafar-lo ja que no hi ha cap poble a prop. Tot i això considero que la ubicació és molt bona, amb vistes del desert. Hi ha un waterhole just davant el camp on s'hi acosten alguns animals (oryx, zebra, estruç, springbok...) de nit i matinada. A 1 hora amb cotxe fins a Sesriem.

These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Situated near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area. Very lovely staff and beautiful hotel. The food was very good and we wish we had had more time to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool.

Bordering the Namib-Naukluft National Park, this country lodge in Solitaire offers spacious rooms that face the central courtyard with its swimming pool. Everything! The room was lovely and set in a great courtyard with pool. The food at restaurant / bakery was good. Shop on site. Staff lovely. The whole site has a querky USA Midwest feel. We also visited the cheetah conservation project with Nico as a guide. Totally awesome.

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool. Absolutely perfect. Great staff, fantastic food, the sundowner was perfect. The place, together with the staff, is exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 34 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. I don’t know where to start it was just amazing beeing welcomed to this place. Our room was beyond beautiful with an outdoor bed (they‘ll arrange sheets and everything if you tell the reception) a second terrace with sunloungers, outdoorshower and another balcony right in front of your bed. Interior is very spacious with gorgeous big windows, a big comfortable bed, lounge area with the most amazing view and a very big bathroom. Minibar and coffeestation are filled up so you can enjoy a drink right when you arrive. We had Zebras right in front of the lodge when we arrived. For sundowner you can choose to visit the upper deck (up a small hill), they‘ll arrange the drink you told them in advance and also very good tapas. Thanks a lot to Willie and the second waiter for arranging our drinks last minute and for racing up the hill with them and our tapas. :) After that head right to dinner, honestly the best dinner we had during our whole holiday. The steak was amazing, the starter and the amuse guele, the soup and the dessert. Lastly the whole staff really cares and seems to really enjoy beeing there and working together you can really feel the team spirit. Its about 40min drive to Sesriem Gate (they provide early breakfast with you want to leave before sunrise) for us that was totally fine. We arrived at the gate for sunrise and at Sossusvlei in time to walk up Big Daddy before the heat. Scenery and light is amazing at this time of the day. After running down the hill to Deadvlei we drove back to the Lodge to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening. Only downside that we just stayed 2 nights and couldn’t enjoy a whole day at the lodge. We‘ll come back, thanks again.

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. My wife was biten badlx by a tick in the dunes, the staff organised a Transport to the nearby Clinic at no time and no cost! Besides excellent Food and Service we were really feeling at Home far from Home!
