Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the pool, Casa Cactus Buenavista is set in Bacalar and offers accommodation with free WiFi. The hosts, Jey and Sebastian, were fabulous. Extremely helpful with activity and restaurant suggestions, arranging transportation, etc. They made sure you felt welcome in their peaceful and inviting oasis. The property is located approximately midway between Bacalar and Mahahual. With a combination of private and local transportation, it is very easy to get around. I highly recommend this property, and hope to return soon. Thank you Jey and Sebastian for a lovely stay!

Incredible location, you really have the laguna for yourself there-beautiful eco-cabanas-extremely friendly and efficient team! I would definitely recommend to stay there!

Situated a few steps from Mahahual Beach, Palmeras de Mahahual Cabañas offers free bikes, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Clean, good service, and in a good location. Also in front of cabañas theres a spot on the beach where everyone can rest and go in. Since restaurants own every part of the beach 😅 Theres also free bikes from the property I definitely come back and stay here again! Thanks

Set in Bacalar, Veleando Ando Cabañas offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and lake views. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. The room was super cute and spacious. The location on the lake was lovely. The breakfast was really nice and different each day which was nice. The staff was very nice, although we don’t speak very much Spanish we used google translate for the things we didn’t understand. But they were kind and helpful. Beautiful sunrises and the moon reflecting on the lake was beautiful.

Set in Mahahual, Lunazul Eco-Cabaña Frente al Mar offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a fitness centre, a garden and a private beach area. I would go there again for the fantastic location on the beach. It is a minimalist experience, close to nature and to things which are important in life. Don't go there if you look for a cheap alternative to a 5-star hotels - that won't work.
