The hotel exceeded expectations. The location is excellent - quiet neighbourhood, yet close to center and very well connected, with the metro across the road, a beautiful park right nearby, shopping malls, cafes etc all within a short walking distance. And the splendid Gulbenkyan museum close by, too. The room was super clean, the breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Svetlana!

Our stay at Lumen Hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing a problem for them to deal with, from the front of house, kitchen and dining, cleaning and room staff. The rooms are very comfortable, it is good to have the choice whether you want your room serviced or not and if you do not, you are given a discount to use in the bar or restaurant. Breakfast is fantastic with a different choice of juices everyday. The light show happens every night and is quite informative and nice to watch. Beautiful patio and pool arrangements. Rooftop bar and pool has a great view of the city and you can see the planes coming in to Portugal. There is a sense of security at the hotel as you need your key to access the room floors. There is a gym with adequate equipment to suit all. Totally enjoyed our stay and with the hotel being central to all transport like the metro, bus, taxi, shops, bars, restaurants, Winter Wonderland, beautiful parks and walks. Very nice break and we will be back.
