The Dean, Galway is a real gem. Within walking distance to Eyre Square and the vibrant Shop street. The hotel decor gives an art Deco vibe. Our room was a good size, spotless, with a stocked mini bar in the Smeg fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The heated outdoor pool was an added bonus. We will be back!

Just as expected, just like a college dorm room lol but had everything we needed, bed was comfortable. Location was quiet. Bit of a walk to Shop street where the main pubs , shops and restaurants, about 30 mins. 15/20 minutes to Eyre Square.

The location of Woodquay Townhouse is great, just a short walk from Eyre Square & Shop Street. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Although it doesn’t have its own car park, it’s great that there is one a short walk away- FYI we paid for the parking online/on the app not on a machine. I would definitely recommend Woodquay Townhouse to anyone coming to Galway, and I plan to stay there again in the future.
