Helpful staff to accommodate the need of my stay. The location is central to Glasgow, with easy access to national rail. Go by foot, we were able to reach the west end, SEC, and city centre with ease, all under half an hour of walk time. The room was very quiet.

    An old favourite re-visited.

An old favourite re-visited. You could spend many hours in this beautiful building. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Exhibits of fine art, aincent history and artifacts are well displayed and cared for. Highlights include Salvador Dalí's iconic "Christ of Saint John of the Cross". Information cards are well explained, especially for students, with each card telling a story. The gift shop is lovely, full of reasonably priced items with a very helpful manager. Enjoyed every minute.

Great Location: The apartment is located near the Kelvingrove Park with park view and can see the tower of University of Glasgow. Great Amenities: The apartment looked better than in the photos in real. Full kitchen appliances, cutlery, and condiments. The host also graciously offered complimentary cakes, milk and orange juice. A friendly gesture and appreciated. Great Host: very responsive and friendly. My son accidentally scratched the dinner table a bit and the gentlemen told us not to worry about it.

Kelvingrove Hotel is a modest, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. It is walking distance from the superb Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Kelvingrove park, the University of Glasgow’s Hunterian Museums & Galleries and several very good restaurants. The hotel staff, particularly Duty Manager Joe, make one feel at home and well looked after.

Lovely reception staff, so very helpful with a good dose of humor! A very nice and old little building with a good location in the west part of the city, and only a few minutes walk to the Kelvingrove park where we had breakfast in the mornings. Many good restaurants in the area and a lovely little shop where you could by scones and such for breakfast, as we didn’t have the hotel breakfast. Area felt safe and cozy.

The location was great; close to Kelvingrove Park, cafes and restaurants, transport. And the breakfast options were great, it made it easier to start each day with a coffee and something to eat; there were a lot of great food options and the turnaround if ordering a hot breakfast was quick. The staff were also pleasant, helpful and responsive, and I loved the fact that I could get fresh air in the room, as I could open the window.
