The best place we have stayed , loverly room,great staff and location . Really loverly hotel if I was coming back to Edinburgh I wouldn’t stay any where else .

Greeted by Kevin, the owner, who was super informative about getting about, and about our stay. The location of the hotel is great with easy access into the city. The rooms are big and comfortable with a great size bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with great variety offered. Kevin is an exceptional host, super friendly and welcoming, which will definitely guarantee us returning for another stay, when we head back to Edinburgh again.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was equipped with a guitar, gramophone, wireless speaker and more. The option to fill the bathroom fridge with beers was extraordinary. The jelly station, the breakfasts, everything was exceptional.

Fantastic location, helpful and nice staff, very comfy beds and rooms equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The complimentary snacks and drinks were delightful. As it is centrally located (close to bars, pubs and restaurants) some rooms might get a bit noisier, but still a great hotel experience.

Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk.

Most of my life decisions were made in this hotel. From choosing what Uni I went to and my husband proposing to me here so it holds a lot of good memories . I even decided to apply for a job whilst taking High tea here! I love the facilities, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The service is impeccable ! Worth every penny ! We will be back for many years to come.
