Excellent place to stay! Cozy and stilish. Good breakfast included. Quiet place even with pub below. I'll surely stay again next time. Difficult to find such a nice hotel in one of the nicest areas in central London.

Camden Market

This bustling night market sprang up to serve the crowds visiting a nearby temple. Today its stalls overflow with tantalising local delicacies, from fresh butter crabs and eel stew to rice noodle soup brimming with shrimps and pork. Don’t miss Keelung’s sweet speciality, paopao – snow-like shaved ice smothered with fresh fruit jam.

Usually busy. Watch out for pick pockets. Great little stalls and shops to go into. Food court is great, although when busy nowhere to sit. Be mindful if going with older or people with mobility issues

I was concerned when I was told Camden market was being basically rebuilt. Although I have to admit they’ve done an incredible job. So much choice at reasonable prices. It’s defo worth a full day out, there’s many bargains to be found and an amazing choice of various foods from around the world.

Visit Camden via the canal boat cruise. After a relaxing leisurely cruise it kinda appears out of nowhere. It's ok to visit. We couldn't find any vintage market stalls, it was all Chinese imports and fake clothing and jewellery.

Eclectic mix of styles, crafts, arts and fashions, handmade items of all kinds. From clothing to jewellery to pottery to paintings and the street food stalls are amazing and reasonably priced. Bohemia meets the Kings Road. A definite must visit if you are in or can get to north west London.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too. One of the worst markets in the world. This market used to be full of original sellers and stalls and unfortunately it full of rubbish imported from the far east. Nothing like it used to be and since the fire it has changed beyond recognition.

It was so spacious. It's more than enough room for a group of friends, a very big family or multiple families having a group holiday. Well furnished and in a lovely area. Walking distance to chalk farm tube station and Camden market and lots of cafes and restaurants

It was conveniently located on the main street, with a Tesco nearby as well. A bit far from Camden Market, but not too far - a 20-minute walk.

Location is super close to camden markets so it's a great spot to be. The bedrooms were decent sized for a two people. Building was very secure as well which was awesome. Also the host was amazing - they were communicative, kind and really went out of their way to assist us in any way they could. They made a huge difference to our arrival in the UK - cannot recommend enough.

We had a great stay at Mason & Fifth and loved the room as well as the shared spaces. We were surprised by plenty of space in the smallest room category, a coffee machine with pods and milk provided in the room, as well as a lovely breakfast spread (fresh fruit and bread every morning) which we enjoyed outside in the courtyard. Access was easy and the location is great, with 5-10 minute walks to Camden Market and the next tube station. We will come back next time and think this would be a great property to work remotely as well.

  • Go on the weekdays!

Go on the weekdays! I went to Camden Market on a Saturday (BIG mistake), so I went back again on a Wednesday and it was lovely. The only downside is that some sellers are more inclined to try and convince you to buy their wares since there aren't as many people.
