Large rooms and hotel recently renovated last April. They gave me an unexpected upgrade! Everything shiny and new. In an excellent central location. Bar de Vin and the trams /tourist bureau just around the corner. Staff, especially Maria at reception friendly and helpful. I would definitely return

This hotel is amazing! Such a grand hotel with lots of character, and good location. The staff, Dimitri and Mattis, were super helpful and assisted us with arranging a day tour to Saint Emillion as well with booking restaurants in the area for us. They really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I can highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a boutique hotel with lots of warmth

    Well researched and presented learning experience about wine throughout the world and, of course, Bordeaux. Navigating the exhibition was not simple. The tablet device provided was more of a puzzle than help at first, since the user interface is less than intuitive. Once you've cracked the process of putting the red eye at the back of the tablet on the red dots all around the exhibition, you'll get all the info you need. There's no fixed route around the exhibition so feel free to wander around the many sections and subjects. After the exhibition take the lift to the 8th floor for a spectacular view over Bordeaux and one free tasting of a wide variety of wines of the world. Adrien was a vast source of information about many of the wines available. This young man is a great asset to the centre du vin. If you're thinking of eating in the restaurant on the floor below the tasting platform, make sure your credit card is in good health. Prices were typically twice or more what we paid in any other place. €100 each seemed too much to pay to eat with a magnificient view over Bordeaux.
