Make sure you book tickets for ALL of it as you’ll get turned away from The Palace Nazaries which has timed slots. Wear good shoes as you’ll walk miles! Print your paper tickets off before going We had bad experience with Play Granada who cancelled our tour with one night to go and we had driven to Granada already. We then spent a stressful night finding tickets But its worth it once you get in there

If this is the only thing you do in Granada then it will be worth your trip here. My recommendation would be to book tickets for an early entry. We started at 8:30 and were pleased to miss the heat of the day and the group tours by getting in early. We ended up spending about 3.5 hours wandering through all the buildings and generalife. The buildings and gardens are all magnificent.

We could have spent a week there. Get tickets and go back a couple times. Hire a guide to point out all the amazing architecture. Eat lunch and have a glass of wine in the courtyard. (It's cheap and good.)

Amazing Islamic architecture to be seen. Worth having a read up on the history of the period when Muslims took on the tyranical Visigoths and lived in peace and harmony with the Christians and Jews for 800 years. Check out the Netflix documentary called the short history of the moors

    TAKE YOUR PASSPORT!

TAKE YOUR PASSPORT! We were asked for this multiple times during visit. I could not find details about which entrance to use but found out that the Puerte de la Justica was the one to use to get to the Nasrid Palaces. Have to be a this point on time or you won't get in. We took a taxi up and walked down.

The Alhambra inside and out is more beautiful in person than any picture can capture. The views from around town with the mountainous background are breathtaking. Enjoying that with wine and a complimentary cocktail is a perfect day in my experience.

Taking a tour that includes time to see the Alhambra and Albayzín is key, but also take time to walk slowly in the small streets. Stop for ice cream or beer w/ tapas. Look up at the buildings as you walk to notice all the architectural details.
