Located in Montaione, 41 km from Montecatini Train Station, Boccioleto Resort - Place of Charme provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a... Kind, helpful, and well-prepared staff (really, including everyone). Our little dachshund was warmly welcomed as well and could enter everywhere within the resort (except the indoor wellness, but we haven't used it anyway, now in summer). Very good breakfast and fantastic dinner (local specialties in a wonderful Tuscan garden). I suggest trying out their kitchen at least once during your stay. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and good soundproofing (it is not noisy at all).

This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.
