Bungalow has 420 sqft living area plus big covered outside setting Lanai/ patio with Ocean VIEW and a beautiful tropical garden,  just for you in a very relaxing place as you lounge and enjoy the tropical bird- songs  and sunrises of eastern Hawaii.   Take a 2- block stroll down to Kahakai Park and beautiful Coastline where often mama whales ( Oct to Feb ) and their babies are frolicking.   .  This is a very safe neighborhood, tucked away in the midst of this tropical jungle atmosphere.  The air-quality is exceptionally clean and the neighborhood is safe for walking and strolling around.    There are many families walking around every morning and evening with their dogs and their children.   As of September 2018, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has re-opened, allowing guests and visitors into this magnificent and beautiful destination

Everything you need is just down the street in the town of Pahoa.  For example, there is a grocery store, ATM, drug store, post office, restaurants, museums, bars, and a full-service country/hippie style community.  There is an old lava flow (2012) that you can visit.  There is a beautiful black sand beach called Kehena, down in Kalapana, a very short drive from Pahoa.     Because that's when the weekly farmers' market at Uncle Robert’s happens! Uncle Robert Keli'iho'omalu is the legendary and beloved patriarch of the old Kalapana village, and the market takes place at his family compound, located at the south end of the Red Road near the New Kaimu Black Sand Beach. Normally it’s a quiet neighborhood of quaint beach shacks and lush coconut groves, but on Wednesday night it transforms into a huge open-air market bustling with people eager for fresh produce, tasty food, and live music.
