His grandmother, Etta Egeland, founded the Historical Museum here…a must see to learn about early life in this slice of paradise. If you are looking for a home setting this is the place to start. We are the only vacation rental home on the water with our own private dock in Friday Harbor. You will feel like a local in this private home with a deck that hangs right over the water. Bring your own kayaks and take off from our private dock with a special built dock for kayaks. A short walk brings you to the center of town with all of the restaurants and a grocery store for your shopping
