The Sunbeam Hideaway Bed & Breakfast is located in charming Luodong Township and just under an hour's drive from the capital city of Taipei. It is the perfect sanctuary for rest, relaxation and recreation in an idyllic setting, with the many attractions of Yilan County within close reach. Strategically located beside the beautiful and serene Luodong Sports Park, the Sunbeam Hideaway is newly renovated and thoughtfully furnished. Our three private suites feature plush beds, leather reclining sofas and luxurious bathrooms to ensure a comfortable stay. Complimentary snacks and beverages, including fresh-brewed coffee from Espresso machines, are provided as standard, in addition to high-speed internet Wi-Fi, large flat-panel televisions and Bluetooth Hi-Fi music speakers. A simple breakfast, freshly made and delivered daily from professional kitchens in the vicinity, will make for the start of a perfect day in this beautiful part of Taiwan.

Yilan is famous for its hot and cold springs. Most of the hot springs are located in JiaoXi Township. However, there are a few note-worthy hot springs worth visiting in the region, namely the JuiZiZe hot spring and the FanFan natural hot spring, both located in Datong Township. ​ The eastern coast of Yilan County faces the South China Sea and has long stretches of beautiful beaches to explore. The geology of the region produces fine volcanic black sand, which perfectly complements turquoise waters. Unique coastal rock formations are also dotted across the entire Yilan coast, from Toucheng in the north right down to the south in Nan'Ao. Yilan is also the home of the world-famous Kavalan Whiskey Distillery, which is well-worth a visit, and certainly for a free tasting of their award-winning single-malts. A comprehensive list of suggested regional tour itineraries suited to the individual, couple or families with children is available upon request.
