Seosko Turističko Domaćinstvo (Village Tourism Household) Balkan Retreat is a rustic, converted small-holding, with modernised farm buildings that are unique and charming in design and character. We grow organic food following permaculture principles and try to increase biodiversity of plants and animal species in our wild garden. We have been given a three star category of Seosko Turističko Domaćinstvo.
We are actors, teachers and writers from the UK and the Netherlands, enjoying living in nature, growing our own food, and hosting guests from around the world, events, retreats and workshops.
We are located in a quiet village surrounded by the forests of the Fruška Gora National Park, 2 mins walk from Bešenovo Monastery and 10 mins walk from the beautiful turquoise lake Beli Kamen/Besenovo Lake. There are two restaurants nearby, Ruza Vetrova and Lugarnica. You can go horse riding, hiking and swimming, or simply relax in hammocks in the peace of our garden.
