Locals refer to Kelvin Heights as the 'sunny side of the lake' and guests will quickly discover this advantage! Located at the Frankton Arm end of the lake, the Kelvin Heights Peninsula is a popular spot for walking, biking, swimming, boating and golfing nearby at The Queenstown Golf Club. Enjoy a 650 m picturesque lakefront walk along the trail to the nearby Hilton Hotel for wonderful dining options or relax with a local glass of wine at their popular 'Pinot Pit'. Another great feature on the peninsula is Deer Park Heights - an absolute 'must-do' in Queenstown. The International Queenstown Airport is only a six minute drive, Frankton shops and restaurants are seven - ten minutes away and central Queenstown is 10.4 km away – or even better – catch the water taxi into town!
