JULIA'S HOME / JULIAS HJEM: The apartment is situated in the heart of Oslobukta/Bjørvika, Oslo’s prime location, providing easy access to an array of restaurants, shops, cafes, and public transportation.Surrounded by exciting architecture and high-class culture. Here you live at one with the fjord and the city with a wide range of activities. Staying here, you will enjoy the vibrant city life right at your doorstep. However, the apartment's location facing the serene inner courtyard offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat.
We are Julia (main host) and Andrew (co-host), a couple from Norway and Northern Ireland, residing in Oslo. Our move to Bjørvika, Oslo in 2023 allowed us to enjoy the Fjord's proximity within the city. We live in the same building, different unit, please do not hesitate to contact us at 92837424.
Bjørvika is a historic harbor area in Oslo that has undergone a significant transformation in recent decades. It used to be characterized by industry and port activities, but today it has been converted into a modern and vibrant urban area. The transformation began with plans to relocate the container port and develop the area into a more urban and cultural center. Now, Bjørvika is home to landmarks such as the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, the Munch Museum, and the Barcode project, a series of modern skyscrapers. The area has become a symbol of Oslo's contemporary architecture and cultural scene, attracting residents and visitors with its numerous amenities, restaurants, and cultural events.
