Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam - Amstel is a beautiful 4-star hotel in Amsterdam with a swimming pool, fitness, spa and wellness center. The hotel is centrally located in a prime location in district Oost. Just a 3-minute walk away is Overamstel metro station, from where you can reach the center of Amsterdam in 10 minutes. During their stay, guests benefit from free high-speed WiFi, 24-hour reception and luggage storage. The 206 rooms and suites range from 24 to 51 square meters and feature a flat-screen TV, a desk and air conditioning. Additionally, all bathrooms are equipped with a rain shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Hotel guests have exclusive and free access to the fitness and the spa and wellness center, which includes a heated outdoor swimming pool (28°C), Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and herbal sauna. Massage and/or wax treatments can be booked by appointment. Every morning an extensive breakfast is set up at Buffet 't IJ. Upon request, chefs prepare freshly made egg dishes. For lunch and dinner, à la carte Restaurant Amstelle offers a variety of international dishes. Guests can also visit Bar Moqum for delicious comfort food or to end the evening with a drink. The hotel is easily accessible by both public transport and car (intersection A10/A2). There is parking available in the hotel's own secure underground parking garage. By bicycle, you can reach the ‘Rivierenbuurt’ in 5 minutes and the nightlife area ‘de Pijp’ in 8 minutes! Rental bikes are available at the reception. Explore nearby attractions such as the Johan Cruijff Arena, the RAI and the Ziggo Dome, all within 3 km. The nearest airport, Schiphol, is located 15 km away from the hotel.
