Les habitacions estan situades al voltant d'un pati antic, que data del segle XXIII, i que va ser un convent. L'església, fundada l'any 1222 per Sant Francesc d'Assís, encara s'utilitza avui en dia per casaments i altres celebracions. L'Hotel Luna Convento ha estat sempre un lloc favorit entre la seva clientela d'elit. Disposa d'una piscina gran exterior amb gandules i para-sols i també d'un escull. Des d'aquí es pot accedir al bell mar Mediterrani. Aquest edifici impressionant manté el seu patrimoni històric però inclou totes les comoditats d'avui en dia. Hi ha Wi-Fi gratuïta al vestíbul. Podreu gaudir de les delícies locals per dinar i sopar als 2 restaurants, un amb vista sobre la costa i l'altre a l'antiga torre. El centre d'Amalfi és a tan sols 200 m de distància i hi ha una parada d'autobús públic dins del recinte de l'hotel. A la recepció es poden reservar excursions i trasllats a aeroports, estacions de tren i a les ciutats principals amb limusina o furgoneta petita. També es poden organitzar sortides amb llanxa ràpida per la costa d'Amalfi i les illes.
