Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, this beautiful 16th century stone farmhouse is a 10-minute drive from the spas of Saturnia. It features colourful frescos by modern artist Julianos Kattinis, an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Wi-Fi and bike hire are free. Rooms at Fattoria Pianetti feature elegant wood-beamed ceilings and traditional terracotta floors. Suites feature a living area, a spa bath, and a patio or balcony overlooking the surrounding estate. Breakfast at the Pianetti is buffet style, with freshly baked cakes, fruit and yoghurt, ricotta and sheep cheese, and local salamis. The restaurant serves traditional specialities for dinner. The lounge with a large fireplace is the ideal place to read and relax. Beaches on Monte Argentario are 45 km away, and a 50-minute drive will take you to Lago di Bolsena lake.
