The Paolo Sarpi street is a lively pedestrian area, full of Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese restaurants and excellent food stores, bars, ice cream, pastry shops, breweries and pizzerias. There are also many clothing and technology shops. All you need is within walking distance: post office, pharmacy, supermarket, hairdresser, copy shop, hardware store, florist, travel agency, optics, electronics, and Chinese shops selling everything. The via Paolo sarpi is well served by public transport (metro green Moscova and Garibaldi, Metro lilla cenisio, Garibaldi Station (with also train to Malpensa airport), tram 12, 14, 2, 4, bus 57, two bike sharing stations BIKEMI, taxi in 4 minutes and many possibilities to find car sharing. The wonderful Sempione Park can be reached by bike, tram or by foot in 3 minutes, and if you continue the walk you will arrive in 7-8 minutes to the famous Sforza Castle and in 15-20 to the Duomo Cathedral! A walk in the surroundings can also include the Arch of Peace, the Monumental Cemetery (an open-air museum with free guided tours), the Brera Picture Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper".
