Bright and cozy apartment with balcony in the heart of Ortigia, a few steps from the promenade and the Duomo. The apartment, located in a pedestrian street full of restaurants and typical shops, opens onto the living area, furnished with a large sofa bed, a television, a dining table, and a fully-equipped kitchenette with an oven and kettle. The sleeping area boasts a bedroom with a queen-size bed, balcony, and en suite bathroom with shower. Guests will benefit from comforts such as earplugs, wi-fi, washing machine, air conditioning and heating. *The apartment is located in a central and lively area; the presence of clubs may cause noise during the evening and night hours. *Basic condiments such as oil, salt, pepper, and sugar are not present in the accommodation for hygienic reasons.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white colour of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoilt and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are definitely worth a visit. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
