This boutique hotel is peacefully situated in the South Iceland, in the village of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a 1-hour drive from Skaftafell and Reynisfjara Black Beach, and 15-minutes drive from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and Laki Craters. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, private bathrooms with premium bathroom amenities, Nespresso coffee-machines. Renovated in 2023, the hotel features modern room décor, quality restaurant and a cocktail bar. Hotel Klaustur’s in-house restaurant offers modern cuisine with 80% of locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is open for breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner menu. In the evening, guests can relax and have a drink in the hotel´s cocktail bar. On site, there are 2 electric vehicle charging stations and 2 Tesla Superchargers. Area leisure activities include a neighbouring swimming pool, Systravatn lake, 600 metres away, Klausturheiði mountain, 300 metres away and Visitor Center of Vatnajökull National Park 2 km away from the hotel.
