Nestled in the arc of Scarr mountain and overlooking Lough Dan, this beautiful home welcomes you into the heart of Wicklow National Park. From the front door you can walk for miles along the Wicklow Way and relax in the lake afterwards with private access to the water. Accessible walks are on the property, an ancient turf road, waterfall and calming lakeside.
Siobhan is an art educator, calligraphy teacher, bread maker, keen gardener and home maker. She lives in her newly built, modern, classically designed home in the Wicklow hills with her husband Alan and their two dogs, Socks and Lucy. Alan reclaimed part of the mountain into a rolling lawn where guests can wander and relax, paint or picnic! Lunch baskets and art materials can be supplied and hired.
This property standing at a 1000 feet is isolated and private while only being a 10 minute drive to Roundwood Village with its delicious cafe and restaurant at Roundwood Stores and The Coach House Inn. We're a 20 minute drive to Glendalough and 1 hour drive to Dublin airport. Own transport is essential. Residing in this National Park a 2 day visit is reccommended as there is so much to see.
