Property information

3-bedroom cottage sits on "Bolus Head" in Ballinskelligs. An iconic mountain steeped in Irish history. A 10 -minute walk from the house to the top of the hillside offers an incredible views, tranquility and lots of fresh air! The view from the mountain takes in the Skellig Islands and St. Finian's Bay. Perfect for those in search of adventure, a peaceful get away, relax with a good book, and enjoy the incredible surroundings.

Neighbourhood information

We have blue flag beaches close by, ideal for all the family. There is a chocolate factory 15 mins away, ideal for the wet days! There is a wonderful playground in the town, that is open to the public. Waterville is 15 mins away, there are 2 golf courses there, along with many shops, bars and restaurants. The world famous Skellig Rock is locates 9 mile out to sea. Boat trips can be arranged from Portmagee. The international Dark Sky Reseve is locates in South West Kerry. An wonderful opportunity for the astronomy enthusiasts!! If it’s cycling you like, bikes can be hired here in Caherciveen.
