The room was very spacious, tastefully decotrated, and really well presented. There were plug sockets situated at both sides of the bed, as well as a good sized bedside table each (which are rarely present on many of our short stay hotel experiences)
We had a good-sized Smart TV to watch, so after a long day travelling, we were able to relax and watch a movie.
Evening room service was available, and although we didn't take advantage of it (as we had already eaten), we most certainly would have appreciated it had we been hungry
I didn't have breakfast, although my partner did. He said it was very nice and freshly cooked.
The staff were very polite and friendly.

This trip was a girls' weekend away. The shopping in Cheltenham is good but quite spread out so wear comfy shoes.
The shopping is in two areas, near the Brewery quarter which has a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars for eating and drinking ( fabulous cocktails in the Cosy Club, and great food in Alchemist with a DJ playing some great tunes on Friday night.) and usual high street shops. Then in Montpellier area, the shops are more individual and boutique style, with great restaurants and bars. We ate in Ivy which was lovely, beautiful inside with really great food.
We walked mainly while we were in Cheltenham and it felt pretty safe even in the evening walking back. We did also use Uber which as always was easy and convenient.

Had a 2 night stay at The Cotswold Grange , but would be very dubious about returning ,definately not as advertised ,not even as a B & B as you have to pay extra for a breakfast ,only to find everything was cleared away despite having booked for 9 30 the previous night, had an excellent evening at the Instanbul Kitchen which was exceptional and the following night we ate out and went to Sephs steakhouse in Cheltenham and again this was exceptional with excellent service. Taxis are readily available and good value.

Cheltenham has quite a sprawling center.
Cheltenham has quite a sprawling center. I parked up in a multi-storey car park that was attached to a huge John Lewis. It was great for access to the main street. Had a short walk to the Promenade from there. Wasn't totally impressed by Cheltenham prom. Its not as nice as I expected? You don't really get a good view of the regency style buildings, as there are a lot of overhanging trees that block the view. It all looked a bit run down. As with a lot of places these days, the menus in the cafe's offered food that I didn't find appealing, as they had what I call 'faddy' options. I did find a nice one at the end of the prom, that offered nice toasted sandwhich's, with traditional fillings. To be fair, I didn't have enough time to explore any walks or areas of interest round and about.

One end was tired looking and had a lot of beggars and rough sleepers, the other end was full of high end shops and restaurants (like most large towns). Lots of places to shop and eat. We had a delicious meal in Cote. There are lots of unique individual shops as well as the usual retail, high street shops. It's easy to walk around and see all there is to see.

Cheltenham is a lovely Regency town with so much charm.
Cheltenham is a lovely Regency town with so much charm. We dined well and went to the Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and I would highly recommend that. The bookstore on the Prom, Waterstones, was three floors and amazing. Wonderful to walk around and soak up the beauty of this Regency town.
So close to the Cheltenham train, and city center, and local pubs. Such a pleasant area with public transportation. The most wonderful thing was the steam punk, Georgian decor vibe in the beautiful room and hotel. Loved reception with spa water, cookies, and gin and pantry with supplies to purchase. Room and bath was not only luxurious, but large and comfortable with long windows and double sinks, bottled water and well stocked coffee and tea supplies. I wanted to stay another night simply because the room and location were so wonderful.
Rooms are spacious and comfy and clean . There are parts of the hotel which look a bit shabby. The rooms aren’t. They are in good order. The opening and shutting of doors is a bit noisy as you have heavy automated locks so it’s hard to shut a door quietly and it’s also loud when other people are coming and going. Breakfast is fair it’s basic but fair for the price. Lots of parking. Sadly not hot water in my room last time I stayed. Time before lots. Would stay again. The rooms are actually very nice.
Location - near to the centre of Cheltenham and near to family members whom we were visiting. Value for money - hotel/overnight accommodation prices were high overall, the 27th and 28th October being the start of the Cheltenham racing season (which we hadn’t realised). Clematis House was excellent value for money compared with other possibilities we considered. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the quality was exceptional.
Hotel is beautiful and is located just a 10 minute walk from Cheltenham town centre.
We arrived early and the lady agreed to store our bags for us which was a big help while we strolled around the town.
Breakfast was all freshly cooked and was really lovely.
Bedroom was very comfortable and stylish and had everything you needed. Also exceptionally clean.
We loved this place and would definitely return.
Beautiful hotel , great facilities, breakfast was wonderful. The spa area with the sauna and jacuzzi is a bit small if the hotel is fully booked with guests, but still works. Outside pool is great, the view and the nature around are fabulous ! I highly recommend to everyone to visit this hotel. It’s a short drive of 15 mins to the local train station and town centre.
The stay was good we have never been to Cheltenham before but overall it was a nice and relaxing break, Hotel and room very clean and tidy right next to Lidi, close to town centre. breakfast was good and great discount NCP parking overall good, Will visit again. lovely walk to Pittsville park nice stroll around residential area with parkland.
Great situation to Cheltenham town centre, which is only a short walk away, and a Lidl in really close proximity to the house. The interior was beautiful, the beds were really comfortable, beautiful linen and lovely plump pillows. the kitchen had plenty of space and amenities for you to use. Netflix and Sky was a lovely personal touch.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area that is within walking distance to Cheltenham town centre. Friendly and helpful staff, particularly the hard working Casey. Nicely decorated throughout with a decent sized bathroom with walk in shower. A good, freshly cooked breakfast is provided. We also enjoyed the evening meal that we had.
We loved this hotel. So clean, warm, spacious, great customer service on check in. So comfy. Dog friendly (extra £15). Not far from Cheltenham town centre. I wanted to stay another night.
Plenty car parking spaces.
Room service available but we ate evening meal and breakfast in the bar with the dog.
Great food.
Friendly, hospitable staff, nice welcome. Location right in the centre of Cheltenham. Rooms which have been refurbished are nice (some were still to be done). Comfy beds, hot water, tea/coffee facilities in room. Budget hotel for a budget price.
The location is beautiful, hotel offers Spa treatments with sauna and pool. Food is outstanding. But the best of all are the employees that go above and beyond to help out. From the front desk, restaurant to the spa it was incredible.
It was conveniently located in the Town Centre. Bright, clean and airy. And the washing machine for clothing was a welcome addition.
And close to the Brewery... where all the action seems to occur.
Perfect location for everything in the town centre, able to walk everywhere really quickly. Loved the atrium and ceiling blind. Loved the wet room and all the amenities in the room (microwave etc)
A lovely setting, not far from Cheltenham centre and close by the bus stop. The garden was absolutely beautiful and you're allowed to eat breakfast out there - which was a great spread!
Spacious apartment, very clean, modern, large and quiet, no noises. Located to the city center, exploring Cheltenham is easy. Easy check in, good communication with the proprietor.
The apartment was well equipped, nice comfy bed and pillows and parking space right outside the door. Handy bus service into Cheltenham town centre just along the road.
Good location close to city centre. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable room, though small. Mission of the hotel to train young people.
An excellent boutique hotel, walking distance from centre of Cheltenham. Added extras such as gin &tonic on arrival and sloe gin in the room made the stay exceptional
