Company information

We moved to our little B&B on Dartmoor in late 2014- our vision was to balance our family life, with our 2 young children, with working and living in this beautiful part of the world. We've faced many challenges since we started this business and our hope is to make Lydford House reach its full potential as a business and for all our visitors to leave feeling they have experienced something special. We are always looking for ways to improve, particularly where service, facilities and comfort of our guests is concerned. We know that our guest share our concerns around sustainability, and our impact on our natural ecosystems and we have made this one of our priorities in the time that we have been here. We believe that we have created a unique experience for our visitors and hope to inspire and excite them with our projects as well as offering a great service and a relaxing and luxurious stay on Dartmoor. We are working very hard to achieve this, and are immensely proud of the business we have grown and the improvements we have made.
