This home has plenty of character with wooden beams throughout and a large fireplace, perfect for those colder winter nights. There is also a large garden space with a BBQ and firepit which is great for summer evenings. Make the most of the local walking and bike routes with picturesque views or take a drive into the local villages of Great Bardfield and Finchingfield for a pub lunch.

Set back from a quiet rural lane. The barn conversion is adjacent to Frenches Farm Livery which includes stables and arena hire. The nearest village of Great Bardfield is a short 5 minute drive away where you will find 2 pubs, a tearoom and a Co-Op. An 8 minute drive will take you to the village of Finchingfield, known as the most pictured village in England and a hotspot for cyclists. Kings Barn is a 12 minute drive from Great Dunmow, a 20 minute drive from Stansted Airport, and 20 minutes from Braintree where there is a train station with regular trains to London Liverpool Street. Guests have access to private parking outside the barn which can be closed off with a wooden gate. Public transport is available but is very limited in this area so a car is recommended if you wish to travel into the nearby villages or further afield. Local taxi information will be provided once a booking is confirmed.
